Paypal revenue/AML limit for u.s. accts???
Hey, semi-newbie here. Lurked for a couple years and finally joined, bought the book (my new e-bible, i might add) and enjoy coming here for even more info...
Anyway -- Have a question. (already searched a few related threads, but not quite what I'm looking 4)
I need to know if PP has a revenue-limit on VERIFIED U.S. accounts before they request more I.D. and such due to Anti-money laundering laws etc. I know U.K. and AUS, etc, have certain limits but what about U.S.?
For example, I've read that the total you can do per calendar year is 200 transactions and/or $20k in total revenue before they have to report to uncle sam.
Is that the same point that they would limit your account and ask for more I.D. or is it a different/lower amount?
Basically, I need to know how much I can sell in a calendar year before Paypal starts snoopin for more I.D.
And trust me, I know ALL ABOUT how they seem to limit folx just because it rained in california or because of a full moon, and other random sh!t. But I need to know if there is a definite annual limit to be aware of.
I have multiple accounts and I don't plan on doing anymore than 12,000 per year in each.
And if nobody knows and thinks "paypal will limit you for anything" -- then can anyone vouch for having $10k in revenue in a calendar year with no major problems??
Thanx in advance
