Default Email from paypal....

Got this email from paypal. I shortened it up so you could get the idea.

My name is Jessica and I am from PayPal. I am writing you in regards to
a mutual customer and the closed PayPal claim PP-001-107-817-673. I was
contacted by one of your buyers who purchased an item from on 10/19 in
the amount of $850 and the transaction ID is 2CD056681G749763X. He
received the product but it was damaged and is asking for a refund.

I would recommend refunding the buyer. If he is unsatisfied with your
service he will pursue action outside of PayPal.

Ok, wtf is that supposed to mean lol? This person got the item he wanted and I bet the person thought he could take advantage of paypal policies and get a free item. Is this anything to worry about? What can he do to "pursue action outside of paypal".

never heard of this one before.....you might want to make sure that this message indeed came from paypal....if item is in fact damaged, you need to request that they send the item back first before refund is issued...that is usually the standard in which paypal operates in a situation like this.
