Just for laughs - paypal email
Its the New Year, a new start, a fresh outlook, and high spirits to make the most of it , grab the bull by the horns, and crack on with the great plan.
Sometimes things get a bit stresful, so to lighten up the mood and have some fun and laughs at paypals exspense, thought I would share my reply to an email from paypal.
I am sure you have all read or had an email similar to this one, as a laugh I emailed them back, my response follows
Dear xxxxxx
Thank you for contacting PayPal. I appreciate the opportunity to assist
you today.
After reviewing your PayPal account, we have determined there to be
excessive risk involved and we would like to begin parting ways in a manner
that is least disruptive to your business.
I completely understand your dissatisfaction with our decision to close
down your PayPal account, as I understand that you would like to continue
availing of our service. However, the decision we have made is final and we
will not be reopening your PayPal account due to the potential risk
involved to us as a business.
I would also like to assure you that this was purely a business decision
that was made, and we are in no way accusing you of any wrongdoing. We are
limited in the detail that we can discuss with you surrounding our
decision, but I can advise that we will have taken factors into account
factors such as the number of buyer disputes, the types of product being
sold as well as your ability to provide documentation to us in order to
verify your PayPal account activity and financial details, to name but a
few.
When such a decision is made, PayPal will hold the funds in your balance
for a period of 180 days in order to protect ourselves against the risk of
reversals and chargebacks (It is 180 days due to this being the maximum
timeframe that any buyer has to dispute a transaction with their credit
card company, i.e. the maximum amount of time within which funds could
potentially be reversed out of your account).
PayPal reserves the right to close any account reported to be involved in
possible high-risk behaviour. In the event of a dispute, PayPal will seek
to recover the funds from you by debiting your PayPal balance first and, if
there are insufficient funds in your PayPal balance, PayPal reserves the
right to collect your debt to PayPal by any other legal means.
Thank you for your time.
Yours sincerely,
PayPal

Dear
J
Thank you for contacting me. I appreciate the opportunity to converse with you.
After reading your last message we have determined there to be
excessive risk involved and we would like to begin parting ways in a manner
that is least disruptive to your business.
I completely understand your dissatisfaction with our decision to legal action against yourselves.
However, the decision we have made is final and we
will not be pulling out of legal action for the account due to the potential risk
involved to us as a business.
I would also like to assure you that this was purely a business decision
that was made, and we are in no way accusing you of any wrongdoing. We are
limited in the detail that we can discuss with you surrounding our
decision, but I can advise that we will have taken factors into account
factors such as the number of sales made, cost of items, and time for sales to take place to name but a few.
When such a decision is made, we take into account particulars
and work out percentages of prospective future sales
in order to protect ourselves against the risk of loss of sales and our account being closed down.
We wiegh up against all sales made before the account was closed
and the time frame those sales were made in.
We reserve the right to forcast sales, future sales, and potential growth of our business when dealing with a company with possible high-risk behaviour.
In the event of a dispute, as is the case in this instance we will want
to recover the funds from you by debiting you for the full forcasted projection of future sales, which we believe to be in the region of £1.75 million, or by any other legal means.
Thank you for your time.
Yours sincerely,
well I hope I was able to provide some light relief from what is an otherwise mind bending task of getting back on the ebay/paypal ladder.
If you have had any funny moments regarding PP or EB, then hope you can add to the post
