I've read about Paypal accounts getting limited if you make too much, withdraw too much and spend too much. Does anyone know how much is too much? I have about 7K in my Paypal account right now, but I want to make a large purchase, around 6K. If I make the purchase in one shot am I running a big risk of getting my account limited? Would I be better off to do this in increments and if so how much and how often? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Nobody really knows the exact amounts that read flag PayPal users, you are best looking at it from the point of PayPal, if you request 3k then they may think your PayPal has been hijacked :D so use your sense, whatever you think is sensible and slow.

for me buying around 700$ and withdrawing 300$ is going fine! such sum in one shot will raise flag i think! be cautious with the 2 wolves (paypal+ebay) as much as you can! good luck!
Actually if the cash is free and clear AND you are sending to another pa yp al, you might be ok - pp loves money moving around their system since...you guessed it...% commission $$$.
why cant you just call paypal and tell them what you want to do and see what they say. If maybe they have a heads up that you are doing it then perhaps it wont flag anything. That is what I would do. There is really no reason for them to flag anyway. They are going to make a killing in fees on it.
i tried that once they said ok. then two minutes later limited and need id and ssn . i call back and told them spoke to u and u said ok . lady said sorry need id . haha there funny people to deal with . you could transfer ten dollars and they would limited u . all depends on the mood of the computer i guess
Ive been on ebay and paypal as long as they have been around on one account or another and never have had any payment limit requirements. I have sent very large amounts to small amounts.
It you are not doing something illegal then it should go through. They arent going to block a big payment and all the fees that go with it simply for their health. there must be something that you are doing that looks illegal. Fix that and you are golden.
