I dont know if this is a coincidence or not but this is my experience with withdrawing money from my stealth paypal. A little off topic but might want to try this.

My paypal usually has over 2k everyday since im selling pretty good everyday. I withdraw EVERYDAY $498 at the same time around MIDNIGHT. Never had a problem withdrawing that much everyday on a 8 month acct. I did it for about 3 weeks straight no problems from paypal. One day I forgot to withdraw at midnight since I fell asleep so I withdrew around 9am. 20 minutes later PAYPAL calls me lol..

So I'm guessing if you withdrawl when paypal offices are closed there is a lower risk to get limited or was it just a coincidence? WHat do you guys think?

A worthy thought Dailyhundred - good post - another reason not to switch things up when the model is not broken =)

@dailyhundred

Do you fancy doing that 9.00am one again to see if it triggers the phone call? Only if your comfortable with it of course.

@Dailyhundred, nice thought, PayPal may have phoned as the withdraw was not in-line with all your most recent transactions. Unless you meant that as well.

GrannyT 06-06-2011 04:25 PM

That's what I meant Jedi Knight

Sorry I don't understand what you meant? As in-line with my other transactions?

GrannyT 06-06-2011 06:04 PM

What ShadyOne and I meant was, if you pass muster, and if you are happy to do so, make another withdrawal at 9.00 am to see if that triggers a phone call

But only if you are happy to do so

PayPal's security system may look for transactions that do not fit into normal trends.

Something along them lines....
