A year ago my merchant account on PayPal got limited. I was curious though if I can open up a personal PayPal account to purchase stuff or will it get banned too?

It should be fine if you have a different IP adresss and have cleared your cookies etc..

My partner had his paypal suspended and i just got a wireless dongle and cleared my cookies on my laptop and re-registered with paypal for him with his exact information as before and its been fine since.

It might last for a little while, but eventually its gonna get banned.

Very easy to get a new buyers account.

Take the time to read around the forum.

Different user, different IP, different address ( PO Box will work ), different name ( adjust your name a bit ) etc.

With careful preparing, a new account could be started.

There are certain things to address in making a new ebay/paypal account.
In your other threads I'm pretty sure it has been mentioned your method is not workable any longer.

One thing you need is access to an address and must make the account to be as real as possible. None of this non-existent name or address any more.:pop2:

Because of your past history, of having a closed merchant account on paypal, I would not use any personal info again.

paypal caught this user because he re-used his info. Dont be fooled into thinking that will not happen again:doh:

I thought it might have been like amazon where they ban only your seller privileged. =/
