Thanks for that. So, it is possible to open an account as an American in Canada. How do you do it though? It doesn't say? Would you need to apply for some sort of credentials? This is something worth exploring...

Here's a Canadian bank that allow people to use their tax id to open a checking account.

The only problem you'll encounter trying to open a canadian paypal account is the credit card. You can use a debit or a gift card but it must be a canadian card. They are sold at most grocery store, convenience store, gas station over here and they work with any address (you don't even have to register them lol).

EDIT: maybe you could apply for a card like that, I don't see why they would decline you since it's a secured card...

how would I get a Canadian IP living in the US? I am thinking about packing my bags and moving to Canada soon, if Canadians dont have socials, how is PayPal banning you guys and why are you on this site in the first place? Just wondering because I dont want to move and then find out when I get there that my plan for getting back on eBay without much trouble wont work.
