| octagon69 | 06-11-2008 06:26 PM | Thanks for testing this out IMjustme. I wonder if I recieve positive feedback from buying is the same as positive feedback from selling. I guess I'll find out. |
| Sammi007 | 06-11-2008 06:57 PM | Thanks for the info imjustme.....
I received the abusing ebay e-mail yesterday, accompanied with the suspension of course :) ...but I had a feedback of 60 + turning over at least 4k a month....
I think the computers at the ebay HQ's are going CRAZY!
Or someone reported my items as high risk! |
| ebayhateluv | 06-11-2008 11:29 PM | HI: Imjust me,, have you tested this with the pre 11/07 accts?
(Before they instituted all the new rules)?? |
| imjustme | 06-12-2008 01:31 AM | No, they're all new accounts. Unfortunately I only have 1 pre 11/07 account and I'm never going to use it unless my life depends on it :D |
| ebayhateluv | 06-12-2008 05:58 AM | LOL...
I am the opposite-- I stopped creating accts a few months ago-- with all the new rules/regs--the pre 11/07 accts are the only ones staying alive for me/ stealth accts..:) |

Really?
I have accounts from February that I am using to sell 8 vero items per day. I have an account I created at the beginning of this month that I am selling about 5 vero items per day on. |
| imjustme | 06-13-2008 06:06 AM | I create accounts every day. You never know when it's going to be worse than now so better be prepared. |
| ebayhateluv | 06-13-2008 10:06 AM | Imjustme,,, I bet you do not have 9 kids on Summer Vac right now , tearing up the house, either, bugging to get shuttled to the mall, or to the Verizon store for a new cell phone ?? :) :) |
| imjustme | 06-13-2008 02:25 PM | I have 0 kids and a wife that works just as much as I do :D |
| ambercolour | 06-13-2008 11:20 PM | wow if i had 9 kids i be training them all how to make ebay/paypal accounts :D |
| imjustme | 06-14-2008 02:02 AM | I'm thinking about having some kids now ... |
| fashionfriendly | 08-26-2008 09:12 PM | Vero limits on designer items; create multiple ebay accounts Hello, I have been reading the posts and they are so helpful. Sorry if this has already been answered. I sell vero items (clothing; all designer authentic items); however I have been hit with limits on my powerseller account. No problems w/authenticity, have 100% feedback; BUT I need to sell more than they are letting me list, which right now is only about 20 items per month. ( I was selling 70-80. I read alot about people creating multiple accounts but do you have experience creating multiple accounts to increase the number of items you can sell to to get around the vero limitations? Ie., just sell 10 or 15 on one account, open up many more and keep listing on multiple ids? thank you. |
| Quasi_Mojo | 08-26-2008 09:26 PM | Were you given any reason why they limited the number of items you sell?
I think the best person to ask about multiple account usage is Modee. |
| alexzin | 08-27-2008 09:43 PM | I never knew that we can easliy change up the title to relist the item for account without linking verified us paypal?I will give it a try. Thanks for sharing! |
| ebayhateluv | 08-27-2008 11:53 PM | Yes indeed..Mr.Modee has the answers!!
Go Modee ! :) |
| fashionfriendly | 08-28-2008 08:06 AM | Hi Quasi Mojo, the prompt I get is the one that reads "In order to keep Ebay safe; limits are sometimes placed on accounts' please do not try to list this item for 30 days." etc.
They are limiting usage of all designer names in the titles (for me); and I find that if I don't use the designer name to describe it (that is what it is after all); it just doesn't sell. |
| fashionfriendly | 08-28-2008 08:07 AM | "I never knew that we can easliy change up the title to relist the item for account without linking verified us paypal?I will give it a try. Thanks for sharing!"
Hello Alexzin, I don't understand this. Do you mean "us" united states? I would like to read up on what you are referring to ; or pls. explain. thanks! |
| fashionfriendly | 08-28-2008 07:18 PM | ebayhateluv, when you say:
**Work around-- I just chnaged up the title ,scrambled the letters, and it did not end up a relist, but it listed, i had to upload photos again,, but got it to go..
Do you mean that you mix up and misspell the designer name? if so do you find that your items still sell if you are trying to sell designers and they are misspelled? I find I get 0 action on any designer items that are not properly spelled. thanks |
| BlackMarketGirl | 09-01-2008 12:21 PM | I always wait to have more than 10 FBs before I start selling what I really wanna sell. Up to 10 FBs...I just pretend. Or sell junk for no profit.
I had 2 accounts since feb 2008 waited 3 months and started to sell aggressively on both 8-16 items a day from a VeRO company.
It worked fine for 2 months...then they shut me down. |
| ebayhateluv | 09-03-2008 05:13 PM | Speaking of Vero--
Heres the Result of after 7 weeks fo back and forth, and a COunter Notice/claim being filed on my behalf, and subsequently an appeal, with VERO owner, ROLEX USA:
