for the past month i have been trying to figure out how to buy things with paypal but i keep getting this error message. When trying to pay with my bank account (instant transfer) like i always have done a error message pops up after i click continue. What is happening

what did PP tell you for this

This issue is still occurring today. I tried purchasing from target.com and kmart.com several times and nothing. I tried using pp in-store and nothing.

Full disclosure I have no bank account attached. Maybe that has something to do with it?

So your pp is not verified with bank - you have CC attached? it is CONFIRMED (mean 1.95 charged to your cc and 4 digit code typed back?) If not confirmed do that first - a good move also to have it verified since a lot of sellers and BIG SHOP sellers wont ship to unverified pp`s.

Let it sit and use something else to pay.

It is being reviewed or has been flag in most cases like this.

When you see this do not continue on.

Let it sit for a few days or for 50.00 use another form to pay and let this sit a bit.

I think it will be ok but when others have seen this they were ok if they let it sit for a while.

Check around the forum especially the paypal subforums.

ALl you have is a paypal account that has your name, address, phone number.

In terms of paypal's expectations the account is worthless. It is expected to be verified ( have a bank account attached) & confirmed ( vcc attached).

You are a risk. paypal dislikes this.

So yeah, having no bank account means you lose out on business.

So I have done three test trials with this whole "using your balance to make purchases" thing. Here is what I got:

First Time: Verified 7 year old account with bank account attached and cc. Received funds from a sale and spent immediately. No issues.

Second Time (which I alluded to earlier in this thread): 3 week old account with cc attached, but no bank account. Got funds and tried spending them several times at a couple different websites and even set up Paypal-in store cardless feature. Denied everytime and account limited after maybe the 7th or 8th attempt.

Third Time: 3 month old account verified with bank account, but no cc. Actually had a ssn for this one (friend's account) so that should have been a major plus. Received funds and tried spending immediately. Denied each time. Finally I said F it and just cashed out through a bank account.

So there you have it. Maybe account age has something to do with it? IDK. paypal makes it hard to spend your own money.

when i get the error i always use vpn for the transactions. Has anyone tried using RDP's remote desktop protocol?. I will try getting a RDP which is in the same city of my paypal address then i will see if it works.

i only get the problems when buying xbox live codes from sellers that use automated delivery. with every other transaction I have no problem whatsoever. I just did a little test just to see if I am right. I bought a 48 hour XBL from a seller which uses automated delivery and it did not work, it give me this error:ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting

then I bought from a seller who does not use this type of delivery and it did work. Not only that but I can buy any physical item without an issue. I figured out, for me its the items that use electronic delivery

Please confirm VPN has been involved with these transactions.

yes vpn has been used with these transactions and it works fine. but most xbl code sellers never work

Any solution to this? Been experiencing this on a few accounts lasting for weeks.
