Waiting for the first person to come on and tell us they got limited or lost several accounts at the same time or something.

I smell something bad with this, could be wrong.

Guess I just dont trust anything pp has their grubby hands on.

Whole issue reminds me of lemmings.....

All flocking to the mecca they perceive to be monetary freedom.

Flop time on the horizon

Death by coins.

I am reading elsewhere that you will be required to add your SSN or tax ID to even sign up for it.

Be careful before you do this until we have more knowledge.

I was the test dummy here and tried this on a test account and found that no reason to be excited when I found from another source that you needed SSN.

I went and tested it and can confirm I was correct yesterday, you need to add SSN and or other information.

So when I said above that paypal always has a catch, well here it is. Another way pp can suck you for your personal info.

Remember folks, pp does nothing for you unless there is a hitch to it.

In the end there is plenty of ways to cash out, so stuff it.

LOL

I smelled a rat when people were jumping on this.

We know pp all too well there is always a hitch or a catch when they APPEAR to be doing something good for you.

I honestly was keeping hope alive for this option until I read the letters SSN.

Oh well.

I don't know if this works or not, in fact I just found out about it yesterday (I was out of it for awhile earlier this year) but it seems to me that the more options we have to withdraw funds, the better off we all are.

Of course we can argue the merits of Coinstar vs a real bank account, and maybe Coinstar is an expensive option, but for some people it COULD be a good option.

The main issue I see is that - from the posts I've read - sometimes PayPal asks for an SSN and sometimes not. If we could determine what causes them to ask for the SSN, we could maybe come up with a workaround.

For me it is a matter of trust.

For pp to team up with a company not many of us know much about and use them to withdraw is fishy to me.

With all the other means of getting your money out pp had to use coinstar of all places to do this?

This would be like TGI Fridays letting McDonalds sell their JD ribs or something. Does not match up.
