foreverebazon | 10-02-2013 06:56 AM | Another PayPal verification process? Hello all,
Yesterday, I confirmed two small deposits on my stealth US PayPal using
purchased VBA and everything went fine but it showed below message
which I did not see in the past? 'For additional security, we'll make a $0.10 deposit into your bank account and retrieve it. We don't need you to take any action.'
Does anyone know about this? and it'll cause any problem?
This VBA I purchased is Bank of America.
Your valuable input is very much appreciated~! |

Not happening with everyone.
This has been happening occasionally for some months.

Re: Another PayPal verification process? I would make sure the VBA is still open for the deposit - those tend to close up quickly. |
foreverebazon | 10-02-2013 09:10 AM | Re: Another PayPal verification process? Hi, thank you so much for the quick reply.
It looks like paypal will take action if this further
paypal verification fails.
I will ask how long the VBA will remain open.
Best, |
Re: Another PayPal verification process? If you dont have the VBA - might have to REVERIFY with other VBA. |
john456 | 10-03-2013 04:27 AM | Re: Another PayPal verification process? PP may be doing some secret verification after the account is confirmed to see if VBA is still open. |
Re: Another PayPal verification process? Valid point john456 - that particular bank may be flagged or in process of being flagged by pp for VBa usage |
JJGold | 10-03-2013 05:10 AM | Re: Another PayPal verification process? I had this message yesterday immediately after I verified the micro deposits from my bank. |
glacier922 | 10-03-2013 06:39 AM | Re: Another PayPal verification process? I had this message too on my 2 stealths that I created. It alarmed me just as much because paypal actually cannot withdraw money from the type of account I have. This alarms me, but nothing bad has happened so far. |
foreverebazon | 10-03-2013 07:11 AM | Re: Another PayPal verification process? Thank you all for the replies.
I will leave update if anything comes up on this
particular paypal account to share my experience.
take care~! |
glacier922 | 10-04-2013 01:18 AM | Re: Another PayPal verification process? You know, I thought about this and I am wondering now if the 10 cent deposit and then a quick withdrawal is Paypal's attempt to get the real name of the user? Someone here said that when you withdraw money from a bank account, then the bank would give out the account holder's name to the person or entity receiving the money. Could this be the case? Or is it only available to the account holder that initiates the transaction? |

I only depend on one product now, which is the liquid card, and this solves the problem, but I don't know if the product would last forever. Supposedly, no one can take money out of that liquid on bank number only. So that is safe.
I wonder if you can put a security measure on the b of a or even the regular chase accounts so that no one could withdraw money from it? |

newjerseymax | 10-07-2013 08:08 AM | Re: Another PayPal verification process? I believe this has been going on since before last years holidays and increases as we get closer. |

They are hoping the bank makes a mistake and gives them out personal info which actually illegal. |
Dmshark25 | 10-08-2013 01:44 AM | Re: Another PayPal verification process? Paypal must be tightening up before the holiday season,
I received the same .10 message today as well
I logged in my Paypal same IP everything correct , confirmed the 2 deposits than received the .10 message.
When I logged out I received an email saying unusual activity on my account and I need to log in and change my password.
I logged in and received my first limited paypal, I needed to enter the credit card full number, change my password, and confirm my ID and for this they gave a ton of options so I just uploaded a comcast bill and 4 hours later received another email saying the account is restored.
I was surprised how easy it was to get the limitation off but it seemed like something lite, and like I said they are upping security and my account was pulled to be confirmed | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 12:06 AM. | |
