paypal not taking info for ebay listing issues plus adding bank account problems
 

I am pretty good at making new accounts. Just seems like today I am having problems. I have my normal way I list items.

Every other day seems to be fine except today. Anyways I verify my seller account and add my entropay vcc to paypal for automatic fees everything works out until the next screen pops up where i have to read the agreement on paypal and agree and continue.

Well once I hit agree and continue the page errors out.


I tried it on multiple pcs and still am having an error. Maybe paypal approved payments are having issues today?

What browser you using?

Is eb/pp having technical difficulties today?
 

I just tried to create an account and it won't let me add paypal as a funding method to sell.

I keep getting the error, your last action could not be completed.

I've refreshed my browser and cleared cache. I don't see anything on their announcements, has anyone else had an issue today making a new seller account?

Bump for any others who have had success today. I've tried two different accounts, neither has let me add the paypal to fund the seller account.

It's been about 5 hours since I tried the first account, and I just tried again with no luck.

I called both ebay and paypal and they're both clueless and blamed the other. Neither side had admitted to having any services down, or any other complaints from users, but glad to see that there's someone else here who has had the same issues.

I usually make an account per day, and this is the first time I've experienced this.

I been trying all day and just tried adding it again and its still not working. And I tried making 2 other accounts and still not allowing mwe too. I noticed they switched up how the paypal looks on the mobile side. If you have anymore updates let me know this ****s getting ridiculous

I've tried two different browsers, even did a restore on my computer.

Used two different types of credit cards. Different methods of prepaid phone numbers.

I tried two separate accounts.

Tried calling a few times.

Just out of curiosity are you located in California? Or is your IP in Cal?

I've used IP's that start with 76.xxx and also 172.xxx which are both located in California.

Thanks for sharing your info. I've spent a good two hours investigating it today, I've got too much work to do to spend anymore time on it today, but I will be looking into it some more tomorrow.

Hopefully it magically fixes itself otherwise the stealth community will soon be in a frenzy:surrender:

I've tried two different types of prepaid cards which have worked for several years for me, I've made hundreds of accounts using them. Vanilla Visa and mastercard.

Hmm wtf. I wonder if its some glitxh because I have made 100s of accounts with mine as well. I mean thwy add to the paypal account but its just not allowing you to accept without the page not loading

I'll keep you updated, and please just do the same. I'll keep trying every day to add new accounts, and when I notice it's fixed, I'll update the thread.

This is very annoying, I wish someone else would chime in if they've had success today.

It worked! Just posted a listing. The vcc added just as usual. Looks like it could have been a glitch or they could have been working on something. Let me know if it is working for you.

I'm trying to add a new bank account opened 24 hours ago. Paypal is giving me this message: We were unable to process your bank account registration at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again at a later date.

I hope I didn't waste this bank account. Never added this account to anything. brand spanking new. New IP, New user account, ebay account is about 3 weeks old. GV number. Worked fine on previous 3 stealths. Address was from Maps. Valid zip, Am I missing something here or is anyone having troubles? Thanks.

Just fixed my problem. Apparently, I didn't confirm my email address. Strange. I had gmail up the whole time, and I didn't get any emails from paypal. I kind of guessed at it. So, went to click confirm email, and then had it resent, then clicked the link, and then voila, was able to add bank account.

I am trying to add new secondary bank account to my well established PayPal account and I am getting error:

We were unable to process your bank account registration at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again at a later date.

I called PayPal and I get all sort of answers. Saying that a lot of Canadians aren't able to add their bank accounts right know due to some issue which they are trying to fix. However I think it's BS because when I tried to add my bank account first time it prompted me with a verification phone call but since phone number wasn't in service I had to add a new one. Now when I add my bank account it doesn't prompt any verification call. I tried to do the same thing with my other well established PayPal account and the same thing occurs there.

Anyone has any suggestions?

Okay yes I was correct it was total bs and I had literally convince paypal agent to fix this security issue. Unbelievable ....

Many reported this issue and it had nothing to do with the bank, paypal glitch.

My guess is they are changing something on their website and it screwed up adding the bank.

Exactly! This lady was really nice and helpful. The other men were feeding me BS which I wasn't buying but had to keep my cool and be polite. I can't stand people who are lying through their teeth. Generally I feel that most paypal and eBay agents are clueless about what is going on. It's like they come to work uninformed and only repeat what the higher up is telling them.

So like greenie said, you need to find the right agent that is actually willing to help you, otherwise you can go for months without getting your issue resolved.

God I remember the good old days when eBay used to be FUN to sell. I can honestly say I used to be addicted to selling on eBay. Buyers were by far more understanding, less demanding, not to mention they were willing to pay more than average price, they didn't care but higher shipping either. I think this layer of buyers disappeared, they either left eBay or became poorer after recession hit. Now all we have are cheap buyers who will give you negative even if you give them your product for free. It's terrible what has happened to eBay. Yes layout is much more appealing and easy to navigate but everything else is in ruins. I wonder what is eBay management thinking ? I guess they have better plans. I guess they know eBay will never fail because there will always be buyers willing to buy cheap Chinese quality items for 99 cent with free shipping.

Glitches definitely occur on eb & pp. I have experienced them in the past. Glad it all worked out. Just the cost of doing business I always say.

Im getting the same error message when I try and create a seller account on ebay, it asks me how i want to pay my ebay fees and I click paypal and it takes me to paypal which I have already setup using a vanilla mastercard and when I read through the agreement and click on "agree and continue" it errors out with the same message other members have gotten, is there a fix for this? Ive tried 2 different browsers but all was done today, November 6.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?

I'm also having the same problem, it seems eBay has been glitching sporadically throughout the day. I've used Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox. Cleared the cookies, changed my IP address, restarted my PC. Used a Vanilla Visa MasterCard and a Walmart Visa Gift Card.

I say don't waste your time trying to resolve the issue. Read corleone posts, it works and then it doesn't, so on.

Lots of all kinds of different glitches. I am seeing a lot with the availability of funds. Even though immediate payment and pkg. shows received funds show no available dates or they are past date shown for a week and still funds not available. Another is days after shipment sent through eb and no tracking shows in pp so I manually enter it.

kept trying creating new accounts from 6:00AM - 4:30 PM. Still doesn't work.
