my experience is
1.always check buyer or seller feedback when you deal in expensive items
2. never expect that pp decision will be just.. I personally dealt with them,, my customer raised dispute for refund '' item not described' i screwed his records , responded,, customer returned the items and and I emailed customer that I am happy to refund but wonderfully the customer lost his case even he provided tracking number ,, I received the items back and found they were really faulty, I have requested pp to make refund to him,,,
3. if you want to contest they contest like devil'' never submit or yield' even you have to go to the court. pp always avoids court notices and cases.
4. never speak the truth if you want to win on pp,, trust me you will lose,,, just focus how you win and you will win,,,,
5. Never take pp decisions serious as they are decided just for formality'' just move on and move on.. sooner or later everyone has to see the dark side of pp ,,, best of luck
