Buy the book. It's going to be money well spent. |
| Quasi_Mojo | 09-13-2008 07:59 PM | bound2wyn, yes, you've understood HWGA correctly. It's not that difficult. |
| cortex | 09-13-2008 08:00 PM | Thanks - I'll try the pearls of wisdom on this forum first and if it works ill make a donation, else i'll buy the book.
cheers |

Let me make sure I have this correct. You, "John Doe" were suspended from ebay/paypal. Yet you're up & running with 10 separate bank accounts with the same name "John Doe", each of them separately linked to a different paypal account with a different fictitious name on each paypal account ? | there could be many "John Does" around the world, but they all have different bank accounts n diff addresses..so why not? |

There are a lot of conflicting theories here.
1. In order to become a seller, one needs a verified paypal account.
2. To get a verified paypal account, you need 1 physical bank account.
3.You cannot use "bank account A" to setup multiple paypal accounts because paypal stores your unique sort code / account number combination on file.
5. You also need to verify your ebay sellers account by fone. This also needs ONE landline number per account.
6. You cannot use Entropay to verify yourself any longer.
I know the facts. Just not the solutions. Would love to hear someones tried and tested methods. Preferably from 2008.
Cortex | You DO NOT need a landline for ebay . I just recently set up a new account in my son's name & gave them his cell phone number. It worked just fine. Plus, before I was suspended the only phone number they had on record was my cell phone. Soooo...no it shouldnt be a big deal getting friends or family members to help out & answer the phone when ebay calls. All that's required is they write down the 4 digit number the recording gives them, & then tell it to you. |
| Quasi_Mojo | 09-13-2008 08:02 PM | bound2wyn, are you living in the UK? |

Im not so keen on asking every tom, dick n harry to answer their fones with a pen n paper. There must be a more cultured way around this...
and cell phone numbers for verification on ebay dont work in the UK
thanks anyway |
| bound2wyn | 09-13-2008 08:08 PM | why need a credit card? i believe you can be a buyer on ebay with just a bank account. but when i tried to sell something ebay requested i add a cc.I guess to pay fees. Also, it serves as another backup to paypal if there are no funds in your pp account or bank acct. |

It is not hard to do if you stick to the steps laid out in Aspkin's book. |

As I said....
I have 10+ Bank Accounts in my personal name & address.
I have 10+ Visa Gift Cards with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ names & addresses attached to them.
I have 10+ eBay accounts in ⊗⊗⊗⊗ names/addresses.
I have 10+ Paypal verified accounts with the $500/month limits lifted. All with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ names/addresses. Quote:

| Johnny_88 | 09-13-2008 08:51 PM | HWGA, just wondering, are you using prepaid CCs to pay off ebay fees so that you wont be giving ebay your bank acc info in case your account is suspended? or...is it for another reason i havent picked up on yet? |
| magero1080 | 09-13-2008 08:58 PM | multiple bank accounts Quote:

hi,i've surfed this site for a week & still havent found the answer... I read the ebay stealth book.. Im using my young son's bank account now to verify my paypal account.. still dont understand how to get another bank account with a different name. Anyone know exact websites to get an anonymous account? I know I could create a new one with a business name (which i plan to do) locally but how do people get MULTIPLE bank accounts (all for the sole purpose of getting verified by paypal of course.)? | i opened my first current account, after sometime i went to my bank to ask them for a second current account, theey obliged, i went agian for a deposit account, they obliged, and i went for a personal savings. all this time my reasons were genuine and i wanted them for the reasons i told them. later i have discovered they have become an asset to my paypal. i don't know about others, but thats how i did it. |

Every time I have to pay my eBay fees I go by Walgreens and pick up a little yellow gift2go card.
I load the correct account user information onto the card online.
Then I pay that accounts eBay fees.
============================
If for some reason I lose an account to VERO and it has fees, they have a empty card on file that they can not charge to fees to.
I NEVER put a bank account on any eBay account that I create. |

Before the new ones, i paid off my old accounts with my real credit card after they were suspended so that i'd be clear with them. I just hope they dont do anything with my info...havent done anything yet. prepaid CCs is the way to go now. |
| oktobeok | 10-04-2008 12:43 AM | First i would like to ask you guys what i need to sign up PP account :
1/ Name, address, bank account , SS #
-As you guys have mentioned about the name on bank account must be real right? I agree with that.
- name, address can be ⊗⊗⊗⊗ right but accept on bank account?
- SS# must be field in paypal right? so if i have my ebay account suspended and paypal linked with ebay account also my SS# is in paypal account that ebay suspended.
Will ebay suspend my new account if i put :
1.Real bank account name
2.⊗⊗⊗⊗ name, ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address
3.SS# as same as the old PP account. Or i have to put something else?
