paypal withdrawal

I have just requested a withdrawal from my paypal account and it still isn't complete but I just had some payments come into my papyal account and I would like to withdraw that money into my bank account but I don't know how many times can I request withdrawals without raising red flags.

My account if only few weeks old.

Any help is appreciated..

You can withdraw again, just leave at least $20 in your account or the average price of your item in the account and you'll be okay.

Aspkin, what is the most you withdraw from paypal at a time? I always fight with myself as to how much to take out without raising red flags.

gurusgrafx 10-05-2008 09:17 PM

From what I've found it doesn't mater how much you withdrawl.. More matters how much comes in to your account in a given amount of time and the status of your paypal account. For instance.

I had one account less than 30 days old when started using with just a cc attached that got froze when it hit 1,000 mark. I was able to send out 800 to a different account before it froze.

Another account I had for less than 30 days verified, I was able to get up to 2,000 in a week before it was frozen for more info.

Another account about 3 months old before started selling I was able to get over 10,000 out before the ebay account got suspended which in turn made it useless.. Never once did it prompt for SS# or anything of the sorts.

Have you looked to see if your account has limitations on how much you can take out in any given month? Most do, I think it is $500 and until you "lift" that limit by providing the 2 out of 3 info requested by pp. They want either, bank acct, cc acct or ss#, 2 out of 3 will get the limit lifted.

Where do you find your PP withdrawal limits

I have 5 new PP accounts - and I got 3 of them verified today. Is there a link in the PAYPAL site that tells you your limits? How do I find it? I had an old PAYPAL account that I was able to withdraw over $1500.00 at a time with but I cannot use it now because it is linked to a suspended eBay account. I cannot live with a $500.00 per month limit - but I cannot and will not send them a SS#. Does CCNow, or another merchant account get you around these limits?

Quote:

1) Log in to your PayPal account.
2) Select the Lift your account limits link in the To Do list on the Account Overview page or the View Limits link if the first one is not displayed.

Merchant Accounts

Is this why some people use Merchant accounts or CCNOW - to get around the $500.00 limit? BTW- what is the difference between CCNOW and a Merchant Account? It looks like CCNOW is pretty easy to get but Merchant Plus is much harder and requires a lot more personal information. I am in this for the long haul and I cannot give PP a SS# or a Photo ID - so I need to find a way around the $500.00 policy. I read the Stealth book and it doesn't address this $500.00 limit placed on all accounts - or so it seems. This makes getting another source of collecting funds almost a necessity. Right?

just add your bank information and credit card information on the paypal account and it will lift the $500 limit

aking 10-08-2008 12:02 PM

^^^^^^^
what he said, or just get a Visa Gift Card. You have to options to lift your $500 limit: 1) confirm your social, which is out of the question, or 2) confirm a CC, which can be done easily.

Ccnow

This is all great information but I would really like to take PAYPAL out of the equation if possible. Is it a good idea to get a Merchant Account - like CCNOW - that accepts CC's and PAYPAL and puts no limits on how much you can collect? I realize that I will have to provide my Merchant Account with real information - but do they share that with eBay or PP? I am really interested in going this route in the long run. I am tired of having my money tied up with PAYPAL and their whole attitude when it comes to disputes from bit*hy buyers. Are Merchant Accounts better for Seller's when a Buyer files a dispute? What are the downsides of Merchant Accounts?

If you want some schooling on Merchant Accounts, I would recommend a session with Modee.

I Usually Withdraw $400-$500 every other day depending on the total balance. I have never had a problem with Paypal.

Paypal limitations

I just confirmed all my CC's that I entered into my PAYPAL accounts on Sunday. They charge your CC's for $1.95 and they include a 4 digit code with that withdrawal. You access your PAYPAL account and complete the confirmation process by entering the 4 digit code. Every time I did this a message came up that my limitations had been removed from my account. Is it really that easy? They didn't ask for any other information. They have the name, address, phone number, email account - all of which match up with each other. I also have a confirmed bank account on each PAYPAL account from the 2 little deposits that they put in your bank account. So, I have confirmed both my bank account and CC account for 5 different eBay/PAYPAL accounts. 4 of the CC's are from Gift2Go and one is from Simon.com (paid for with one of the CC's from a Gift2Go card that I used for another account.) We will see if everything stays OK. I haven't used these accounts yet - and I haven't set up selling accounts yet either. All things in time. I may use tomorrow to start surfing these new accounts like a Newbie and maybe even buy a few things. I have devoted an entire Steno pad to each account and I am writing down everything I do with each account so that I have passwords, emails, User Names, account numbers, ETC. available for each account. I know that Aspkin and Modee say to put all this on an Excel Spreadsheet but I am not too savvy with Excel and I find that I retain more information if I write it down. I may open a few more accounts but my main focus is to use the accounts I have and start the process of setting up a Merchant Account that will allow me to sidestep PAYPAL completely. This is a lot of work but if you do it right the first time, you save yourself a lot of time.

Yes it really is that easy.
As I have said before use excel to keep track of all your data. It will make things easier in the long run.
You will be surprised how much data you will end up with each account.
