PayPal avg response time
 

Hey guys,

I have a real PP account and all verified. So I was getting near 20k and PP emailed and needed tax ID. My first name was only a letter off and I submitted online for a minor name change and adding a letter to my fist name only. I got an auto response that they will review it and get back to me in 24hrs.

Never heard from them? meanwhile PP limited me to provide tax ID otherwise I can not receive payment.

So i need to first fix my first name and I submitted a request almost 48hrs ago and never heard back. Should I call them? what is average response time when you do minor name change online and they review it?

Any tips would help. plz help.

I would call them in such situation. You have minor name change, that shouldn't be some huge problem.

I actually once submitted my documents first and my name was slightly off - the agent who reviewed it replied back and said, the name was a slight mismatch, his altered it for me and approved the account. So I didnt do the whole change name etc.

Your saying your PP is limited, I wouldnt mess about with names now incase they get suspicious, just submit the documents and if the question comes up, say it was a type error on your part and you never noticed it ( however, if its more than just an alphabet in the wrong place, they could permanently limit you account thinking your up to no good).

Usually the name will just change on its own within 24 hours, have you checked your name again in paypal Settings??

If it's just a letter off than it usually goes right through, if after 3 days no change call them tomorrow and ask

Hope the name used was nothing like your old banned name?

Be careful if it is.

Calling in might be very dangerous under these circumstances.
