Payment being hold For Review By paypal
 

when i send money from one account to another I am getting the message that the payment is under review, This is the first time happening I was wondering if anyone it having the issue and what is the best way to deal with it.

It looks to me that now all payments being send to paypal are bieng held for the 21 days even if it is not made through ebay

please advise

payment review and a 21 day hold are two completely different things. Review usually takes under 24 hours.

How did you send it? If you sent it "paying for goods"... Paypal treats it like every other transaction.

Its not wise to do this in the first place. Creates links..:nono:

If you send it "family & friends" you shouldn't see any hold placed.

This has been discussed many times in the past and has been warned as an activity that will get your accounts linked and limited.
Avoid sending payment between accounts you own.

This was never happening before, I am sending paying for goods and services

and it is happening to every account that i have like 20 of them

My experienced to friends and family will link them almost immediately and both accounts get shut down

I am noting also that this account now are no showing the money that is being held,

I am refunding almost immediately, I am not letting PayPal review or look any transaction that can be trouble

Most revoews auto clear after 24 hours or you can have the buyer call pp and they can get it cleared. I do that when people need stuff quick and they dont want to wait I tell them to call pp and it usually get removed

This is for sure a new thing. It looks like even sending money for products and services on new accounts is going to be under the 21 days rule. They dont want to see money leaving out, they want to keep it inside their bank for as long as possible

The money is in your pending balance and typically available 21 days from the transaction date, or once the buyer confirms they're happy with the item.

We're holding the money because this transaction may involve higher than usual risk. This may be because:

We found an unusual change in selling price for this transaction.
The transaction is inconsistent with your business model.
You're selling an item that can potentially cause dissatisfaction with customers.
Your account was inactive for a while.
We noticed you only recently started selling outside of eBay, so your history with us as an off-eBay seller is quite short.

A paypal review is different than a 21 day hold. If your getting the 21 day hold that is a lot different. Me and Im sure hundreds are dealing with this now. The only thing i got so far is on a new account they will manually release if you call pp but only the first payment and than the clock starts on the holding process.

I clearly just told you exactly why you have this problem. Its a review yes but its still the 21 day hold regardless. I know because I've seen it myself. You guys are the people that don't listen and then cry that Paypal is evil and limited your account. You clearly already stated "its under review" why the heck would you keep risking sending money when you clearly see your account(s) are under review?? Their bots will catch on its just a matter of time. You could of already gotten the boot, but just in their que system pending your envidiable doom. They've already increased their security measures recently and most likely will keep on increasing them.

This is not because they're out to get your money and the whole bank thing. Your already risking your accounts and jeopardizing them by doing this. Its one of the laziest stealth practices discussed on this forum. The problem is it doesn't matter to you....:doh:

The reason I even post again on this thread is for the new members who see this and follow your practices. Its not stealth its the opposite. :rant:

I'll be expecting a thread soon about how evil Paypal is for limiting your account(s).

Plus the age of the account is one the least factors that removes the 21 day hold. Yes you wait 90 days but you must also have sales and prove to them your a honest seller. Haha...I'm done, last post. You guys do what you want. I spoke my peace.

Yeah not only do your accounts needs to be over 3 months old you need to have over $250 in sells and over 25 transactions to get past the holds.

Unless you have done something to trigger a red flag and it sounds like you have by sending to much to fast or sending to the same person repeatedly.
