Paypal Payments Under Review from Verified senders

Recently I opened up a new paypal account and linked it to an already active ebay account. About a month into the new account and over 20 transactions, I noticed the last 10 payments I received are under review. I received them through ebay. I also noticed tracking was NOT added onto paypal even though I had input it into ebay. I wonder if the two are related. My ebay account and paypal account are NOT linked on ebay via the "link your paypal account" section.

I have now added tracking and am wondering when this review is going to go away. Its been over the usual 7-14 day hold period but this seems like something different. Am I eligible to lose these funds even though I have already sent the items out? Am I eligible to have a frozen account and lose all the funds?

I have read other threads saying that paypal takes this as a protective measure for sellers so they don't send items to unverified buyers but this is most definitly not what is happening in my situation, for all buyers are confirmed and established. Is this all just because I accepted some payments and added the tracking late on paypal?

Has anyone had any experience with this "under review" not working out in their favor?

For some unknown reason accounts with 21 day payment holds no longer say pending or held when you get the payment, it now says under review.

So there is nothing wrong with the payments you received, it will release after the 21 days.

If your ebay and PayPal are not linked properly then the tracking number doesn't get uploaded to paypal and vice versa.

That is literally the best news I have heard all day. I was so used to "pending," but yeah it makes sense since tracking was only added on ebay and not paypal. I was definitely about to lose sleep over this, but not anymore!

Any idea how new this is?

I used to have this.
Try adding tracking through paypal.
My paypal ebay not linked,but it automatically
Adds to ebay within a few minutes.
Even if not despatched,I mark as processing in paypal.
The faster you send the better

Been quite some time with the delay on updating - at least 6 months if not longer

Not seeing this. Only payment that was ever under review was from an unconfirmed eBay member that bought an item. Takes 24hrs for PayPal to decide if they will let the money clear or not.

I have had it on all accounts i have sold on this month and last month, that have 21 day holds.
They took the whole 21 days to clear though.

Sales had buyers with 1000+ feedbacks.

No idea why they changed it, but its not the same as the payment that does get held for 24 hours for review, as that payment shows pending in your ebay sales history until its released, where as these show as payment cleared and marked as paid by paypal straight away.

A different Paypal that got limited because of a bank linking glitch. I know its wrong but the ebay account is so healthy I just had to keep going with it. Now I'm slowing down to reconsider but still healthy.
