US Bank transfer
 

I did two transfers over the weekend to my US bank account. They both processed to completed in 24 hours. Yesterday was a bank holiday, but today the money still hasn't shown up in my account. Any idea why?

Processing can take anywhere from same day up to 5 days - still not worth jumping yet...wait - I have had transfers initiated on Friday that only show up on Tuesday (different bank, same principle)

When exactly did u initiate the transfer, The weekend technically covers Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you initiated the transfer on Saturday after 5pm PST or on Sunday then your money won't be in your bank until tomorrow (Wednesday) at the earliest.

It was Friday and Sunday. It always hits the following business day once it shows completed.

Since yesterday was a bank holiday it should show up tomorrow--our direct deposit for payroll didn't hit this morning like normal so its off--dont fret

I know deposits from my bank(s) usually hit the accounts around 3-6am

If automated, then try by midnight

When it's a Bank Holiday, you should expect a variation on when the funds
will in fact arrive.

mmmmm, what does pay pal say, does it say complete, have you tried calling BOA and ask if they see anything pending

Don't have anything pending. I called paypal and they show it as completed.

The weekend and holiday slow things down considerably. It could be until Friday that you see anything. It's just how it goes.

I was asking because this never happened. Previously when I did a transfer to my bank on the weekend with a Monday holiday, I always got it Tuesday..Always.

Got sent back to Paypal. No idea why. I called them and they said if it was the bank, my bank account would have been removed from paypal. She thinks it was a glitch. No idea.

I did another transfer today, won't know until Monday.

Happened again. I initiated the original transfer and a second one on a different account. Has not hit my bank yet and no ones seems to be able to tell me why.

But the thing is that it DOES get to your bank, right? If so...why bother ringing up PP? Let the $ come when it comes

So exactly how long is it taking to hit your bank? How soon do you expect/want your funds?

In the past. It hits it the next business day after it shows completed..always. I did both on Friday and Saturday. I called US Ban and they have no pending deposits. I did a transfer Sunday to a TD ban account and hit it today.

24 hours to complete, hit the next day.

Usually if you withdraw in a Monday, it stays pending for around 24 hours and Tuesday it will say completed and Wednesday its in the Bank.

This is the Norm for PayPal US

However on some rare accounts , and this is something they have been toying with but seems not to be standard yet, I'll withdraw Monday and it goes from pending to complete Monday and is banked Tuesday

No im not. Im saying Im not getting the money. Its being sent back to paypal. The bank is claiming no errors and paypal isn't seeing any either.

When your Bank does not Accept mismatched deposits it can and often will send it back to PayPal

You need a proper bank

Funny thing is, I just did a $2,200 bank transfer to my U.S. Bank Account......so I know U.S. Bank works.

What bank is rejecting the deposits? I am under the impression chase and Bank of AMerica are great for stealth accounts , correct?

The Bank being discussed right now is U.S. Bank. BOA and Chase are good for Stealth.

I've had problems with that bank. The first PP in/out exchange would fail, then very slow deposit times, 4 to 5 days.

See, everyone says Chase is good. They closed all my accounts for mismatched names. Everyone says Capitalone 360 is no good, but for me they have accepted triple digit deposits for me until this point. So who knows. All I know is US Bank is telling me they do not see any deposits.
