Paypal Dispute
Hello i am looking for some advice.
2 weeks ago i posted 2 items via royal mail second class signed for in the UK. A few days later i realised the post office employee forgot to give me the receipt containing the reference number that give proof of delivery, i still have my proof of postage receipt.
apparently royal mail say the cannot find my tracking number now. 1 item arrived within 2 days and the buyer claims he has not received the other item. I think the buyer is lying because of his attitude in messages, he was demanding that he wanted the item ASAP even before i had chance to post it!
I think the post office may have made a mistake and just posted it normally instead of using the "signed for" service. I think he has received the item and taking advantage knowing i will have no way of proving he hasnt received it.
I really dont want to give this guy a refund because i am certain he has the item.
If i close my paypal account now before he opens a dispute will i still be required to give him a refund?
Thanks
