| Laritha | 10-07-2015 11:23 AM | No options on "Verify Account" screen? When trying to withdraw money from PP, I was prompted to go to the "Classic Site". Then after trying to withdraw got sent to a Security Check page, that ask to send either a text or automated phone call to me.
The problem is that there is no option to add a phone number. No matter if I select send a text, or send a phone call, there is no dropdown box to select my phone number. This is not a stealth account so I want to be very careful before I rub Paypal the wrong way and they limit me for suspicion or something.
Anyone know why this is happening all of a sudden? |

Anyone know why this is happening all of a sudden? | So if this is not stealth, then is this your real account or someone that you know? If so, then I would call paypal and do a lil bitching. |

Just click the contact us link and get a code to call in |

Some users on the forum mentioned that after a month of adding a new phone number, it will be usable for that verification. I personally cannot confirm this however. Quote:

Just click the contact us link and get a code to call in | This is a hit and miss. Paypal used to be able to fix this problem for me about a year ago by phoning them in, but recently they simply say "sorry we can't help you". |

After trying a few things, representative recommended that I remove and re-add my bank account which he didn't seem to positive about. Not sure why they don't have trust, as I even have my SSN on file. |

I was using explorer. |

| Laritha | 10-31-2015 01:52 PM | Re: No options on "Verify Account" screen? Anyone know what things trigger this screen? It also came up when trying to buy something on eBay. I know it has a lot to do with the age of the account, but are there any other factors that make this happen?
When I talked to the Paypal rep, they tried something on their end, but it still didn't work. They then told me to wait it out, and after a WEEK of waiting it worked. However, I don't want to wait a week everytime I want to use my money. Feel free to PM me if it's too sensitive to post. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 11:46 PM. | |
