no the SSN does not make it invulnerable and you still need to start off slow. The SSN is added on the paypal account - has nothing to do with the ebay account.
If its your real account then you can add a SSN if you want
If its a stealth account then you cannot add a SSN

its a Real account Real SSN, in a family members name so should i sell stuff little by little or go full throttle don't want to be limited to the point i have to provide ID,CC STATEMENT BANK STATEMENT ETC

So pretty much treat paypal account carefully not worried about ebay account more or less worried about paypal getting limited even with SSN ADDED
Make sure they realize that if things go South for the account you open on their name using their SSN that:
1. They are on the line for any negative balance on the account (for whatever reason). This could result in collection calls etc.
2. They will NEVER be able to use paypal using their real info. Ever.
