Buyer account limited?? wtf PP
 

F you PP....I created a stealth buyer account and sent payment to a business for some items to sell on eBay via credit card (thank goodness).. 20 days pass and that person/business disappears with no trace, so I opened INR and escaleted it. 3 days later (today) I get an email from PayPal saying my account is perm limited and Im deemed high risk. Then I get a second email stating that I reached a resolution with the seller and the case is now closed...WTF?? So I called them and spoke with a supervisor about this and they said because my account is perm limited they no longer want my business and because of that I'm not eligible for buyer protection.

Now I'm doing charge back with cc...but has anyone experienced this bull**** from a buyers perspective?

Amazing how they f*** everyone.

Really depends on the price and how you did everything.

Pretty rare for it to happen so I imagine its how much you spent, who you sent the money too, and the age of the account.

I guess you've sent too much money to a suspicious guy, and they also detected issues with your account, like bad IP, suspicious email etc. So they thought that you do something nasty and killed you both. Do a chargeback now.

Welcome jazz aside, the question is valid and could play a big part into why pp considers his/her account as risky
