Still equally as likely to fail in my opinion. Every Ebay and Paypal account has ID numbers which can't be changed.

You can see it rather easily in Ebay account settings.

Of course they do. EB/PP have to keep accounts organized on servers somehow..

Log into Ebay, go to the account tab, and underneath where it says "current balance" click on the "All Account Activity" link. Then you'll see your account ID number in the top left corner.

I'm not sure how to see it in Paypal, but I'm 100% certain Paypal accounts have an ID.

Thank you, now it makes sense to talk with some solid information. I'm also very curious, if you set it up correctly, how long it can last for a PayPal attach to a new ebay?

Just checked, if it's a business PayPal, you will have a merchant ID on the settings.

Yeah I noticed that also after I posted. I'm sure personal accounts have the same thing and just call it something else.

I have no idea how long your proposed setup would last. My guess would be not very long. I'm surprised they don't have a system in place to instantly prevent this sort of thing.
