1st. You can only withdraw funds from a USA PayPal to a bank account
2nd. THere's no such thing as "instant" withdrawal, all withdrwals take 1-3 days | There is instant transfer option which only charge $0.25. I did it 3 times in past week. It took around 15 min. to my VISA debit card which is linked to my checking account. |

The instant withdraw to "approved" card option has been showing up on almost all of my USA personal accounts. I've been under the impression this feature would be very hard to use with stealth accounts. At the very least it seems Paypal would AVS the card you give them which would mean giving your real address in order to add the card. Or they could take it a step further by only allowing you to add a debit card associated with your already attached bank account.
I don't know how it works since I haven't tried using the feature yet. I'd really like to hear about your experience. If there isn't a requirement for the card to be linked to an already-attached-to-PP bank account, then this could be an excellent withdraw option for accounts with VBA's. |

I'm not so sure this is true anymore. Paypal actually does have an "instant" transfer option now to your debit card. It's supposed to take 30 mins, so members here have said it takes about 20 mins.
I have not tried it yet but I am going to one of my accounts to test it. | I am gonna try this later and report back if the instant transfer is available. I have a real business account link to Prepaid visa and checking account.
Fingers crossed |

Last night I tried an instant transfer and I got an error message on the screen that said "Sorry, we're not able to process your request. Please try again later." So I tried it again this morning when I woke up and I got the same error. I'm on the phone with pp right now trying to find out the problem. |

| shellyanne | 10-28-2017 11:55 AM | Re: Withdrawing money Hi, this might not be the right thread but I wonder if someone can help. Like everyone else PP kicked me the to the curb a few years back, I live in Portugal and previously used the Visa card from my UK bank to verify my Portuguese Paypal account (I didn't know anything about virtual cards at the time).
I never hooked the UK bank account to any Paypal account just the card....so now I have a PP account in the UK (kindly made by someone on this site) as long as I don't use the card at all with any account can I hook the bank account to the PP account to withdraw money without setting any bells and whistles off?
Is there any chance they will know the bank account is from the same person they kicked off years ago?....this may sound like a stupid question to the "old pro's" amongst you but if you could help I would appreciate it. :help: |

| thetrig | 12-02-2017 11:31 PM | Re: Withdrawing money same category - but different items, seems strange as for over a year all been quick instant withdrawls on accounts, maybe it is a time of year they are adding extra security and holding money for longer than usual |

| Blades | 01-07-2018 07:22 AM | Re: Withdrawing money You need to confirm your identity and the bank account which needs be yours first if you need to withdraw money from paypal. They ask your photo of your id and a bank statement. I gave them a call before regarding different user accounts on paypal and those name of the user accounts weren't real people and paypal ask me to confirm their identity. |

When money goes from PayPal --> your card there is no problem
If the money goes from your card ---> to fund PayPal they see who is sending it.
So if you use it for withdraw only there will be no issue with associated name. | Thank you for the useful information |

yes, when you add the card, you do not need to enter the name of the cardholder (so it seems possible to add other person's card), BUT, when you withdraw money, are you sure that they do not see the name as well? | hello, do you offer withdraw card? | | All times are GMT -5.
