problems Withdrawing 180 paypal
 

Has anyone had a problem adding your bank onto your paypal account to withdraw money? I am receiving the following error "Please go to classic site" and once I do and try to add it they send me to this paypal inc page to confirm veryify my account or they give me an error message saying something about the limitation on my account wont allow me to add a bank onto my account. The problem is the bank on their is not live anymore so I need to add a new bank.. can anyone help

Might be a problem with the bank youre trying to add.
What bank is it?

if you check the resolution centre, under the options where it says the things you can and cannot do..
is adding a bank account got a X next to it?

This is why you always keep the bank account that's on your Paypal account active.

I have heard of other instances besides "Please go to classic site" when trying to add another bank account. Where it says “Sorry, your last action could not be completed“.

Sometimes Paypal's system just wont allow you to add a new bank account to a limited Paypal account before or after the 180 days. The other option is to make contact with Paypal but I have red where people have sent over 30 emails about their bank account with no reply and then tried calling and that got nowhere and could make things more complicated and even possibly way worse.

Can you add a different bank account or do you have the same error message?

I tried multiple banks. PNC BMO MB financial. I checked resolutions center and it does have an X on add a new bank.. does this mean I have to go to the bank and try reopen the closed bank from 180 days ago... :(

It has happened A LOT lately. No matter what the bank is. It will say "This function is disabled" Also if you request a check, they never come..... Sometimes you cant log into paypal no matter what(similar to a deleted amazon account) Working on a solution but right now, I dont have one.

I can say that lots of cookies, logging in daily has worked of a few accounts after a few weeks you can add a bank, but I have three accounts still that will not allow it at all.

If you have a X by add a new bank account in the resolution centre then only paypal can remove it.

So you need to call them and tell them you got an email saying your funds are ready to withdraw but you cannot add a bank.
Some reps will help and some wont, but try a few times.

It is not possible to reopen an account once its closed.

Not yet. These account have large balances for over a year. I got about half of them. The last ones are a real PITA. Especially the one that I am locked out of right after I requested 3 checks for just under $2500 a piece. I have the three confirmation emails but checks never came and I have not been able to log in since and the secret questions are NOT the questions on the account. It make email, text and then gives me two questions that have no answers.

The other accounts I can log into but can not add a bank or request a check.

I will worry about it in October when I have more patience and time. Right now, it is not important.

I got hit with the 180 day bs in June. My time will be up sometime at the end of December. My bank account is still open and active, but with how many things I've been reading on here about people not being able to withdraw, it's getting to the point where I am worrying that I will get the same result. There is about 3500 in the account.

Think you'll be ok since the bank is already added and active .. I got 2200 due in sept with no bank on it so will see how that goes soon

Best thing to do when trying to add/withdraw in these situations is to call paypal directly. Have them add the account or enable withdrawing. All emails and site functions seem to have virtually no use and accomplish nothing once you get to this point.

I just had the same issue and it wouldn't work linking instantly. Then I added the bank using the account number and routing number manually. After that I was able to immediately do the transfer. I am now waiting to make sure it posts to my bank account but it said "transfer completed" and it shows pending.

yankee did you ever get a bank added ? I gotta give it a whirl 2200 is about week from being 180days and bank connected is closed so hoping this was a temp glitch in the system or sumthin ...

No same problem. I even called them and they just left me on hold until it disconnects. I have 3 accounts got the emails in May and June tried the check and will not let me add bank unknown service. Calling them does no good.Just an endless loop. Good Luck!

CRAP this is no good ... ANYONE having luck adding a bank after the 180? Or they just going to keep everyones money ?? thought that was illegal in the us ? 2200 is like a couple grand to me gotta figure out a way

Problem was that the bank account was closed. So thats the problem is adding new bank account. Paypal wants to do verification ID when pretending to add new bank. May not apply to all account except it did with my accounts. I keep trying but getting tired of wrestling with them. Even using the app denies you says high risk transaction.

Same here my bank attached was closed i havnt hit the 180 mark just yet but already worried about this whole deal after i have been reading

Checks are OK as long as it is not a Postal address. No post office addresses. If so, they require a bank verification and of course if you could add a bank, no check needed.

I did have two checks never show up..... Just two from the same account. This account I am also locked out of now.

Sounds like they are thinking about just keeping it for xmas time pp bonuses are a coming u know .. If the security questions isnt being accepted then hummmm ?????? Tried different banks ?

Tried the check route so many times never shows up tried it 3 months straight always says gets returned they will never send it to new address. Thats my luck

So at first you tried to send to stealth address and it was returned to them ?
then you tried to add a good address and didnt accept it ?

Why would you try to have a check sent to a stealth address you don't have access to?

And how do you cash a check that is in a stealth name?

1. That's why you have a stealth address you have access to.

2. If you have good relationship with some banks. they can let it through as a deposit

1.) You dont....You edit to an address you have access to...Hence the problem we are talking about in this thread.
2.) Miss matched name deposit is a mismatched name deposit. If you can electronically deposit then you can paper deposit PLUS all you need is the routing and checking number....To create a check in any name.

Most big banks have the mobile check deposits which come in handy for mismatch names on checks. You can bypass the teller who would most likely tell u to open a business account.

So you updated to address u have .Then they still didnt send the ck ? Yea if i get a ck i can just take a pic of it and it will go right in my account with the banks app . JUst wondering about even getting them to send a check

add an address. Problem is if it is a postal address, you need to confirm a bank account...But you cant add a bank account. But you cant add a bank account.

Seems this thread keep going in circles.. Nothing changed from page 1.

You can confirm the address with a Card, VCC, gift card

not to have a check issued to a POSTAL address. Need Bank verification as well. VCC to add the address. Bank verification to issue a check to postal address.

Oh ok, by postal address ur talking about a PO BOX I guess?
With a street address it works, once u add the address you click the check option and u choose the address , similar to withdraw to bank where u chose the bank, from confirmed options

To be clear, I have ONE account of out dozens that I requested the check(s) and they did not arrive. JUST one account out of dozens.

This same account seems to have been deleted, much like an amazon deletion. It makes me answer TWO secret questions that never were setup. No option for contact etc... Eventually I will call in and see what I can do.

The other accounts I cant request a check because I cant add a bank to verify the postal address and if I could add a bank I would withdraw.

Hope this clears up this confusion.

Any postal address. Even if you leave the box number off. Paypal is quite aware that 6 Clinton Road is the post office for example. PO box, Box, or just plain 6 clinton road. No work without bank verification.

Yeah I was able to add my home address with the VCC and received a check today, mine is a street address not postal box.

I had two accounts the last week both I called and couldn't add a tdbank account so I went with the check option.

One account the address was already correct and the second I just added the same house address used with the other account.

Both checks arrived within 6days

I dont have any physical address burned with paypal so I dont dare do it. But the moment I do I will.

This PO bull**** may have cost me thousands of dollars. But I am sure I will fix it. Just is not important right now.
