How do you guys change IP address for different accounts?h
 

Hello,

I am new to stealth. How do you guys properly change IP address when you switch accounts? For me, I change the the MAC address to get a new IP. Do I do that on a existing user account, log out and then log in the other user account for the eBay/paypal that I want to use? Would appreciate any kind of help. I need to get back in.

Everything depends on what your using to get online. People use several methods. It would seem your using your home internet?

My ISP is comcast and I have confirmed to have dynamic IP address.

Yes changing the mac to get a new IP is fine, just make sure it changes and log them.

And yes use different user accounts for each stealth

If changing the MAC address works for you...then keep it going. Like I said, There are a lot of different methods for obtaining Internet and each has its method for changing IP.

It changes each time you power cycle your router as well.

I just go into my routers menu and reset my connection ,gives me a new ip in a few seconds.

Yup - that works too.
*** BUT***
Activists with consistent ip's id what would be considered normal. One that changes all over the place, would draw attention.

Make sure you're actually changing your public IP, because when I had Comcast my IP was static and I was never able to change it despite months of trying.

turning off and on the router does not work all of the time for some people, depends on your ISP provider and router. Some peopel use phone tethering or a mifi.

Please make sure to keep tracking your used IP's to avoid liking your accounts by login in from the same IP.
