Google Voice does not work anymore with PayPal registration, is there any working alternative?

I just created a paypal acct within the last 5 minutes. Google Voice worked fine.
You must be doing something wrong if youre unable to use it.

You can just buy a real phone number, and then add the google voice number later on. You can make the GV number as primary later on.

But then you have to wait several months for that GV number to be accepted for verification purposes since it was not the number the acct was created with.
I opened 5 accts so far in the last few hours. All have a google voice number attached and verified. No issues whatsoever.
You must be doing something wrong.

What are your other steps for the PP registration? IP source for example?
