Has anyone used Mint Mobile for PP...?

Mint Mobile is a new cellular service (to me) and they have some pretty cheap plans... I think they might have been around before, but now they seem more popular because Ryan Reynolds bought into them and are constantly advertising some great deals...

I've learned (the hard way) that to have smooth operating PP you need to have the original phone number active and working, always ready to receive confirmations and verification codes and so on, and so I'm always looking for the cheapest way to keep a number alive on an iPhone.

Has anyone used them so far? Or do those that are familiar with this stuff think that a Mint Mobile number might not be as reliable or considered legit by the PP system like a Verizon or ATT number?

Any input from those in the USA would be very interesting... thanks!

Mint mobile uses the Metro PCS platform which is T-mobile. Works perfectly for PayPal and Ebay registration. I've used them and for $180 a year (one payment) it's a good bargain also.
