used my1voice.com for two stealth accounts...worked great and easy to use..they have a 30 day free trial and yes they need a credit card on file BUT THEY DON'T CHARGE a dime (since i had a zero balance on it)..until trial period is up..

you basically can sign up with no money out of pocket and get a local number that goes straight to your cell phone..if you want multiple local numbers on one cell phone each new number is $5.00..and they worked great for verifying.:thumb:

I just chatted with them and it seems like a great service...You can use whatever # you want even a banned one and eBay or Paypal will never see the REAL # you are calling from...I will sign up once I get my accounts going...Their customer service is great as well...

how do you guys get a number without extention on my1voice.com?

They ARE very good! Starting using them about 2 days ago, tried it out, tested it and yup, I attached my cell phone number that was connected to a suspended Ebay & Paypal accounts so if Ebay is going to call me they are ONLY going to see my new 1 voice number that I just added to my account.

Do you have to buy a new account for each additional line?

Yes, there is a phone number section where you can add another line for about 5.99 I think. They give you a list of area codes you can choose from. Wonderful service, I highly recommend it!:clap:

but the problem is they give you an extention number, which if you tried to use it for verification, the automated voice message from paypal would not be able to input your extention number...

I didn't know that, I just added it to my account that I opened two months ago, just updated my phone number.
The ext. number does suck.

There are cheaper alternatives, do your research on google and you'll find plenty of them..

You can search on google, "voip" and you'll find tons of services. Use google to your advantage and you will find many voip providers, it's a huge market with many providers....

if you call customer service and tell them you don't calls to have to go thru an extension to call you they will show you how to modify your account to where calls just go straight thru to your phone..i too was concerned about the number with an extension...but after they showed me how to modify it things went great with phone verification from ebay.

man, this is probably a way cheaper way then I was doing, buying tracfones and all. If someone finds a really good voip service, please let me know. Thanks!

No one is going to do your homework for you, go on google and do your own research. It's not hard and it takes less than 2 minutes to find a reputable and cheap phone number provider.

I'm trying them now, go a local number but not getting a call from ebay, have it directed to my cell. "Your personal mailbox number is: 101
(Calls coming in to this extension will be forwarded to the phone number you provided during registration" So do i need to enter my ext# too?

I speak spanish, sorry my very bad english. I need change the settings. I want that the ebay and paypal can see my new number, but I did testing it and others people can see my original number. No can see my (my1voice number).

Outgoings call, If i call you, you don't can see my new number only see my original number. And the idea is that (ebay and Paypal) can see a new number.

What is wrong with the trac phone method? I opened like 10 accounts... $5 each from big lots. All verrified fine. After 60 days they all expired, i didn't renew..Now not having a # on file right now that actually works is scary. But, i mean i am not paying $20 for minutes when i could just go spend $5 and add a new phone to the account for 60 days.

Call me lucky, i guess. But after verification the phones haven't been looked at in 4 months
