| | | dupedagain | 06-16-2010 10:58 AM | My1voice.com has my vote! used my1voice.com for two stealth accounts...worked great and easy to use..they have a 30 day free trial and yes they need a credit card on file BUT THEY DON'T CHARGE a dime (since i had a zero balance on it)..until trial period is up..
you basically can sign up with no money out of pocket and get a local number that goes straight to your cell phone..if you want multiple local numbers on one cell phone each new number is $5.00..and they worked great for verifying.:thumb: |
| rcdrivertim | 07-05-2010 12:13 PM | I just chatted with them and it seems like a great service...You can use whatever # you want even a banned one and eBay or Paypal will never see the REAL # you are calling from...I will sign up once I get my accounts going...Their customer service is great as well... |
| shoot2kill | 07-05-2010 12:53 PM | I've been using them for over a Year! |
| nobody999 | 07-06-2010 10:04 PM | how do you guys get a number without extention on my1voice.com? |
| Trimptop | 07-07-2010 02:34 AM | They ARE very good! Starting using them about 2 days ago, tried it out, tested it and yup, I attached my cell phone number that was connected to a suspended Ebay & Paypal accounts so if Ebay is going to call me they are ONLY going to see my new 1 voice number that I just added to my account. |
| 5MPdew | 07-07-2010 03:55 AM | Do you have to buy a new account for each additional line? |
| Nephilim | 07-08-2010 10:19 AM | Yes, there is a phone number section where you can add another line for about 5.99 I think. They give you a list of area codes you can choose from. Wonderful service, I highly recommend it! |
| nobody999 | 07-08-2010 11:18 AM | but the problem is they give you an extention number, which if you tried to use it for verification, the automated voice message from paypal would not be able to input your extention number... |
| Trimptop | 07-08-2010 12:03 PM | I didn't know that, I just added it to my account that I opened two months ago, just updated my phone number.
The ext. number does suck. |
| Burning | 07-08-2010 12:22 PM | There are cheaper alternatives, do your research on google and you'll find plenty of them.. |
| Trimptop | 07-08-2010 12:24 PM | Do you recommend any that are good?
Thanks |
| Burning | 07-08-2010 12:33 PM | You can search on google, "voip" and you'll find tons of services. Use google to your advantage and you will find many voip providers, it's a huge market with many providers.... |
| Trimptop | 07-08-2010 10:23 PM | Thanks, I will, I appreciate it! :) |
| dupedagain | 07-11-2010 04:10 AM | if you call customer service and tell them you don't calls to have to go thru an extension to call you they will show you how to modify your account to where calls just go straight thru to your phone..i too was concerned about the number with an extension...but after they showed me how to modify it things went great with phone verification from ebay. |
| yehindabay | 07-16-2010 08:24 PM | man, this is probably a way cheaper way then I was doing, buying tracfones and all. If someone finds a really good voip service, please let me know. Thanks! |

| sherry44 | 07-20-2010 09:24 PM | are they any good for U.K ? thanks |

"Your personal mailbox number is: 101
(Calls coming in to this extension will be forwarded to the phone number you provided during registration" So do i need to enter my ext# too? |

| HurricaneHuntr | 09-10-2010 01:00 PM | What is wrong with the trac phone method? I opened like 10 accounts... $5 each from big lots. All verrified fine. After 60 days they all expired, i didn't renew..Now not having a # on file right now that actually works is scary. But, i mean i am not paying $20 for minutes when i could just go spend $5 and add a new phone to the account for 60 days.
Call me lucky, i guess. But after verification the phones haven't been looked at in 4 months |
| fightback | 09-10-2010 05:24 PM | No ebay don't really call you? 60 days should be sufficent? |

Not for outgoing, for that you would need call spoofing. And thats a different thing altogether. |

I dont know if anybody has ever mentioned this one, but its great! New numbers are usually about 2.99 each in the US after initial account setup. You can also make outgoing calls dusguising your number ot be from the tossabledigits number.
Hope this helps somebody. |
| holymoly | 10-22-2010 02:14 AM | Sounds like a great site man, THANKS!
BTW, tossabledigits is about as much of a throw up as their URL, hahha (geek joke). Anyways, it's an OK service, lot of abused numbers...thank my CHINESE friends for that one! |
| static | 10-26-2010 04:16 PM | Could someone who knows, PM me, and let me know if my1voice is good to use to satisfy the "confirm location" requirement on a limited paypal? I'm fine verifying ebay, but I cant figure out what to use as a "landline" to get this limitation off =( Thanks! |
| quiksilver73 | 11-11-2010 08:29 PM | "BURNING" why do you always post useless responses, If you don't want to help then just shut up! This is a question and answer forum??? You could look through google for a week and pay for all kinds of ****ty phone services, That is why people ask for anyone knowing of a good service provider... |
| charle | 11-16-2010 12:53 AM | Kall8 is really good. I use it for a different business and it works great.
Another great one is Accessline. I've used multiple numbers from them for years. You can also do outgoing calls where that number shows on the caller id. I really like this one a lot.
One that I bookmarked from a while ago is freedomvoice. I've never used them so I can't speak to it but it has an A BBB rating. |
| Axcend | 11-16-2010 10:53 AM | I used my1voice and it worked fine for amazon verifications. And it was easy to cancel my account as well. My only negative about it was there, shall we say, over enthusiastic customer service. they emailed me twice to ask if I needed any help and then actually called me, then emailed me that they had called me when I didn't pick up lol. take that as you will |

I may send it what people consider **** posts sometimes when I get mad at people for not SEARCHING the forum for things already there.
BURNING has done his time, and helped his share of people. |
