I found a "new" (for me)..Free Phone svc today..
Was kinda hidden in many threads linked off a bb..
and they dont just automatically give the # , like Grand Central..
I used it, and i transferred to my cell..it def works..
(GC only allows u to xfer to 1 cell period.. so if u have multiple accts--GC needs many landlines/cells, to xfer to)--
**Maybe this is "old news" to u guys??
Anyhow- I didnt want to post in forum right away, as Aim got so much traffiic, they shut down, then the other svc, forgot the name, then another ,,

you go there, it says beta, they send u an email in several hours, mine was from like 11am, till 5pm, so 6 hrs, to get the email.. then i just got the area code i needed..i xfer to cell, i tested it..
line rings, generic answerer..
then, u get an email that says u had a call,,like aim did..
So- hopefully u guys can make use of it, before they either shut down, or run out of numbers??
-- BTW--update, seems area code u get was 515, whcih worked for me..
