how to verify paypal by phone?

What has happened that your cell phone did not work?

ive tried to use my moms cell phone to verify but it didnt work.perhaps its needs to have the same area code as the stealth address?

I must be missing something but since when do you need a phone number to verify a paypal account?

or are you trying to verify the bank account with phone number?

Yes I never had to phone verify my Paypal account either when u sighn up they make u put a number in but I just say its a landline and no verification needed I just use text plus on IPHONE AND HAVE 30 free working numbers used to verify ebay and just to fill in for paypal

You are doing very good because many people have to confirm location via a landline phone. OP needs to come back and clarify

I usually use Vumber on the iPhone, but a few time's I've been told my number is invalid.

kittylove has not put out more info - which is kind of needed - what kind of phone provider? what happened when pp tried to call? I havent had pp call me to verify an account - the story is odd.

im here. yes when im trying to add my bank info it wants me to have a number.

i guess from a landline and i need suggestions. on what service to use.

i tried to use google voice. it does not work. they have never asked me for a number before.

i had removed my bank account because i thought i wast going to be using that account anymore but i tried to add it back and that is when they now want the numeber

Using a Phone to verify your bank is a bad idea unless you have a phone number attached to that bank account.

Why aren't you doing the 2-3 day bank deposit verification?

Seems like your trying to do this the hard way!

To be more clear.

You took the bank account off the paypal account?

If so why?

Even if you were not going to use it no reason to do this because you cannot reuse that account anyway.

Then you tried to add another bank account back on?

If so, never leave a paypal account with no banking info on it. Leave the old one on until you get the new one verified. Once verified then remove the old one.

Did you do what MM stated? Have it send the two deposits to verify?


Are there any issues with the paypal account or attached if ebay that may have drawn a flag to it?

@Kittylove, you posted your question on the 9th...if you would of done the 2-3 day wait, you could of already had the account verified!!!!

Your current way suggests you are flagging accounts which is not good at all.
