I want to buy a sim around my area so I can use for my stealth account. Is this a good idea or am I better off using a forwarding number?

are you just starting up or do you already have some knowledge? Call forwarding is a good option, as far as getting another sim goes, what are going to be using it in, an iPhone or an android phone?, and has that phone been used before on ebay maybe for a banned account that was also using using the ebay app? Factory resets are a good way of wiping mobile phones that have prior history on ebay, have you considered phone tethering as an option as well, that can give you access to your ebay and PayPal accounts using a usb cable linking your phone to your laptop or whatever computer you have

If that phone has had the ebay or paypal app on it, no factory reset will ever work to make the phone OK to use again outright.

OP if all you need is a working phone number...sim is a better option than call forwarding for sure

New SIM card is probably the safest option you have.

Personally I prefer phone forwarding so I can take incoming calls about the account if I need to.

Its much better than having 10+ mobile phones with sims cards in them all laying about.

It is best to answer random calls from ebay or pp. If you dont answer there is a good chance you get limited.
