Ive used a us based gift card ,wasnt a vanilla but another brand.used a us address and us details.verified without issue.2 years and the account si still running.
didnt use canadian address...

Wont register in Canada - need a different card or you COULD call up the card company and try an agent to physically register it to a Canadian address (havent tried that in a long time)....why not...

@zipper, the US Vanilla Visa is not good for Amazon Canada - it is good for Amazon USA.

What works for Canada from my own experience is RBC Visa (from the bank),...
