so what i'm noticing is that when i take the battery out it seems to be all good and give me a different IP, but when I just use the power button to turn the device on/off, i get a duplicate IP....

Thanks. It seems all too often the newer model = the sh*ttier model. Will definitely try pulling the battery When i get back to the office tomorrow!
