^^Just to add onto that, the USPS insurance program in general appears to have gone to sh!t this year. They denied one of my claims altogether - a $200 shipment which mysteriously stopped updating...

eBay or Paypal seller protection will cover it, but not USPS insurance. They won't even let you make a claim if tracking shows delivery.
