Dhl proccesed for clearance?

Here is what my current tracking from dhl says

9. Processed for clearance at NYC

8. Clearance event

Estimated delivery is monday .

This is the first time I'm seeing processed FOR clearance. Background info I have a package that's physically inspected my the customs right now that was for the same address but for my roommate and from a completely different seller. Haven't received anything in the mail or been notified that it was seized yet.
I'm just worried that because of that package this one will have some clearance problem too.

as far as I can see, its moving. The phrases to look out for are: "Please contact DHL" and "Shipment on hold"

But shipment on hold can have 2 meanings: Its either being inspected by customes and is awaiting clearance / seizure or the package is waiting for the next delivery cycle for DHL to deliver it.

Customs seems to be backed up as of late anyway.

My roommate had a package last week (while mine was in route to me already) be already in the city as in cleared the Cincinnati customs , and than say please contact the DHL. After she contacted her they said customs took the package and will physically inspect it. That tracking hasn't updated yet. The one dhl rep said it was seized and the tracking will never be updated. The other dhl rep said it wasn't true it's still physically at the warehouse but customs requested to hold it untill they physically inspect it, and that they did open it and they'll notify her either in the mail by letter or by sending the package out. So that tracking still says contact dhl and nothing in the mail came in yet. Although somebody told her that the customs must notify within 5 days if they are going to take it or not. She had two pairs of shoes. When that happened we looked this stuff up and saw that most likely all other packages will have a problem now but mine was already coming to me . It's from a completely different person and to a different name too but same address. I just have some apparel there

To clarify her package was inspected because it contained as you said questionable two pairs of different kind shoes (I don't know if the different kind matters or not) . My package has apparel but also can be questionable I guess? It's literally just for personal use ... agrh. I'm so upset if this gets seized >:(

Have to wait and hope - only ppl with the true info are Customs +/- DHL

Update : the estimated delivery date now says currently unavailable please try again later. I called dhl yesterday and they said that looks like customs are physically inspecting the package and that if they will need anything they will let me know . I said ok thank. Then the girl asked me if I would like to call the person incase of this I said nah it's ok. She kinda almost insinuated that I will need to talk to them . I said "I need to call them?" She said "no just perhaps they may need something.... if they will need more information they will contact you" I said ok. Now it's a day past the original delivery date. The package was in customs since Saturday. The status is still "processed for clearance" and that's it.

Update on the first package that got ny package in trouble I guess (my roommates from a different person and completely different stuff inside) we recieeved a notice from the customs. It said it's not help for another agency. The "samples" were not sent out anywhere. And on the bottom it said "communication sheet attached? No" I don't know if this matters or not.

Did you ever receive your items.? Today I got that message, it passed through Cincinnati Customs got to Rochester (Delivery Hub) then said contact DHL. I called and the guy said it was being reviewed by customs.
