New USPS rates 1/2018
 

The rate increases are terrible this year.

Has anyone been able to find the updated commercial plus cubic Priority Mail pricing? I can't find it anywhere. I really hope they haven't eliminated those discounts. Shipping a Zone 8 5lb package this morning cost me $10.65 because I had to send it as a Regional Rate A Box. Last week I could have sent the same package as a .2 cubic Zone 8 for $8.74.

Notable changes I've noticed so far:
- Domestic shipping prices have increased across the board
- First Class Int'l Flats service has been discontinued. This has apparently taken eB/PP by surprise, as these were the rates they use and their Int'l shipping service is down this morning
- On postage accounts where First Class Int'l Flats are still an option (which appears to only be high-volume shipping accounts), the label now prints as a domestic label destined for a USPS sorting facility
- Commercial Plus Priority Mail Cubic pricing appears to have either been eliminated or drastically increased

Um, Ok? It's actually called a postal service that's been running in the red for the past 10 years. Good luck buying postage in bulk with crypto.

This is absolutely horrible. I haven't posted in awhile here, but the friggin postal increase led me to come here to vent!

small items with small margins just got crushed. That is going to kill many of the members on this forum.

I have had success printing USPS First Class International packages directly on USPS click n ship website. It no longer works on eBay and Amazon though so I have to pay for the label, copy/paste the reference ID and it's good to go

Man 10-15% on all the First Class and Priority Mail I send. Margins just got crushed!!!!!!
