DHL shipping Please contact DHL?
 

Hi I had ordered some cell phone accessories to resell and it was shipped by DHL. The tracking number says please contact dhl. I have contacted DHL and they are saying that it is with customs. If the tracking number still shows the same information then they have told me that I will recieve a letter in the mail.

My questions here is:

If custom does keep the item and does not release it back does the address get black listed?

I have a mail box at a nearby mailing store. Should I get a new box number and still be with the same mailing store or should I get a new address and open a new box from some other mailing box store?

For the full name on the package it was the actual name. Should I use another name on the new box?

1. Are you fairly certain your items are knock-off or counterfeit and worried about seizure?

2. If custom seizes the item, the address can be flagged - 1 time maybe is unlikely to cause issue but you never can be 100% sure with Customs these days.

3. What you using the box for now - receiving those goods?

4. No advice can be given on using other names for receiving...

Hi it was generic cell phone accessories.
The box was used for personal and business to recieve mails. Can you please let me know if I should change the box number and keep the same address or get a new address with a new box number.

There's no need to change your address since there's nothing illegal in your shipment. The package should be released within a week if there's really nothing in there that would be seized. It's possible the UPS store address is what triggered a customs inspection.

By the way, changing to a different box at the same UPS store probably wouldn't make any difference. They know of all forwarding companies/rental box stores.
