That may seem strange at first, but think about it. With some notable exceptions, Hollywood tends to lean toward the liberal left and donates to their campaigns. So while copyright and trademark owners didn't make much headway when Bush was in office, Barak Obama is listening to them.

The fact is, it will become more and more difficult to get this stuff through customs in the future. Of course, they will never be able to inspect every package, but the days of the 1% seizure rate are fading fast.
Bottom line is, if your business depends on counterfeit goods to make money, you might want to consider changing your business model. |
