Default Why will some sellers not ship to APO/AE Addresses?

I'm curious. I have always shipped to APO/AE addresses, but my items are not super valuable and these are few and far between anyway.

But I see certain sellers stating they will not ship to APO/AE addresses. Does anyone know why? Seems disrespectful to our armed forces if you ask me, but there must be a valid reason.

Anyone care to educate me?

I think it is due to the fact of having to fill out the customs forms that must be on packages going to APO. I personally have no problems shipping to them.

It's partly the delay in tracking info and also some people don't quite understand the declaration involved ha.

Most label services don't support APO some do but most don't, which makes the seller take more steps then usual to ship and also do to security reasons the tracking most of the time is not updated fully, which makes some sellers feel like theres a higher likelihood of getting scammed on higher cost items and of course a good percentage of sellers do not understand it at all so they just avoid. I always am willing to ship there and have never had a problem, nor a single complaint from any of them, there probably some of the best customers you can get. Every once in a while I even throw them something for free, as a lil thank you for serving.
