How fast is ems December shipping right now?

I ordered something back on 11-28-2010 with ems from Guangzhou China,
From the same supplier i always use and normal takes 5 days or so,
It is 12-9-2010 and still no updates since Despatch from Sorting Center,
My supplier checked and said it has made it to the USA she thinks,
They always shipped to San Fransisco,
Is ems always this slow this time of the year,
Have another package i shipped 12-3-2010 with ems same company,
It is already showing Despatch from Sorting Center and updated yesterday,
Do you think it could be stuck in customs,
I have tons of Christmas gifts people ordered on ebay,

EMS is very slow just now, It's normal, look at these times:

I am already having customers ask for refunds by next week,
If i don't get the shipment in by then,
This could cost me money,
I guess i can resale the merchandise at another time,
Still looking today and still hasn't updated at all,

Selling product you don't have yet and are getting from China is a terrible idea. Doing it this time of year is even worse. Mail all over the world is slow this time of year. I have tons of buyers getting pissy on time and I had the product.

Even if mail wasn't slow if you ship stuff a week after you sell it your account wont last very long

Everything is sooo slow right now. I have something shipped from Guangzhou on 12/3 that hasn't hit the United States yet. And I have something from FedEx that's been sitting in Indianapolis customs for 7 DAYS..non vero 100% legit...just some batteries.

I have been selling product like this for a while,
Normally ems takes me 5 day at most to get,
I think next holiday season i will order ahead,
I even put 20 days or longer to receive on my eBay listing in case,
So far people have been nice about it for now,

Terrible way to do business. All its going to take is one messed up shipment and all the complaints, claims and negs will kill the account

Didn't have the money to supply the product at first and clothing size
is hard to predict what will sale,
Now since i got the money coming in,
I ordered some extra coming in soon,
Have 5 eBay accounts all of them not connected,
My good account i have had since 2003 is not connected to any of this,
If i cant get the product by next week,
I may just ask people if they want a refund before they get all mad at me,
My alibaba order time is up 10 days or less out of 28 days you can dispute it,
I will be getting a refund soon saying i didn't get the product,
Then i will repay the supplier once i get the product,
This supplier and i trust one another, They even buy product for me
before i pay for it sometimes,
I really have hope i can get my ems package this week, Thanks

I know sales are good this time of year, but I really despise the customers. Nobody had patience

Anyone had this happen to them with ems and a supplier,
The 2nd package i ordered on 12-3-2010 is in customs today handed over at 5am this morning in San Fransisco,
Still in there this after noon,
Wonder how long it will take to get out of customs,
I am still waiting on my 11-28-2010 package i ordered,
You every had one shipping package jump another get there faster,
My supplier said the 11-28-2010 one is still in China,
She called ems to ask,
They told them just slow getting out ,
Both these came from the same supplier,

I am not sure i have only used ems and the price is way cheaper,
My order from 12-3-2010 is ems and is out of usa customs today,
Should get it this week ,
I think over all ems works fine for me,
Also comes with tracking number,

I use DHL for everything and it takes 3 days from the day it leaves HK. The only thing is your packages need to weigh 21kgs or more for your supplier to use DHL. It actually is cheaper for them to ship DHL than EMS once you go over the 21kg.

Yea my supplier ships DHL and it usually arrives in 3-4 days.

i will let you all know whe it gets here. it is being sent UPS express from HK tomorrow, we will see if it gets here before XMAS. Cost a small fortune but customer is willing to pay...as far as selling things you do not physically have, DONT DO IT!!! it is a big mistake.. I know... As far as EMS I have used it exclusively during the past 4 years of this and have never had a problem except some shipments taking longer then the usual 5 to 7 days, this time of year is always crazy with them so I am going to try this.

All my ems numbers start with EE and end in CN i have used and that is alot,

CN might be only for China. Maybe SG stands for Singapore.

Now nearly all the EMS packages from china to oversea are from guang zhou and the other china place can not send out the vero goods,so many packages are getting delay as there are too much packages staying in guang zhou ems warehouse for sending out.

Just more patient and you need to order the goods before dec in china avoiding the delay.

Good to see I'm not the only person experiencing longer then usual shipping times.

I have two packages that were shipped VIA EMS, One was handed over to the shipping agent on 12/8/2010 and one on 12/9/2010.

both of my packages should make it in time for Christmas...woo hoo
