| | | Littlemorestealth | 05-23-2011 05:24 AM | Yea bump on an answer to what category |
Stay away from sports shoes! |
| Littlemorestealth | 05-23-2011 10:17 AM | Were the sports shoes bundle packed and the boxes folded flat, or were they sent as sold in their original box? |
i think fully boxed but i did not get it so i cant be 100% sure
why do you think fully boxed is a give away? |
| ShadyOne | 05-23-2011 02:03 PM | Everyone should stop using EMS and start using Jimmy Saville. He would get the clothes through customs without any hassle. |
| stickmade | 05-23-2011 02:33 PM | Clothes, shoes & accessories.. thats the category of goods that are being seized for me at the moment. |
stickmade,
are your packages a mixture of items or all the same in one
e.g one package-all shoes etc |
| delboy | 05-23-2011 04:49 PM | ...and what quantity were you buying at once? How many seizures have you had? |
| stickmade | 05-23-2011 07:40 PM | all the same items in the one packages. i've tried to get them throught in batches of 10. Thats the smallest you would want to order and still got seized. nightmare. Seems like they are targeting certain types of item, its like these are going through the scanner and being picked out on purpose and everything else just glides through. f uckers. |
| ShadyOne | 05-23-2011 08:01 PM | If your supplier appears to be undervaluing the package contents, declaring it as something different, not filling the decleration form in correctly etc these can give customs a reason to check it's contents. These sort of packages will be target more during random checks. |
| stealthmaster | 05-23-2011 08:21 PM | Are we still on this subject lol.
Stealth Master  |
stealth master....this subject will never die,NEVERRRR! :)
stickmade,pm me with what items you get through wi no hassle and what youve had stopped,
personally i think they are clamping down on the branded sports shoes, you know the ones:) |
| ShadyOne | 05-24-2011 03:23 PM | Counterfeit clothing has always been targeted by customs in the UK. They may or may not have changed/improved their procedures. |
| stealthmaster | 05-26-2011 08:25 PM | To answer all of your questions don't import "VERO" items and all will be well with UK Customs :).
Stealth Master  |
| ShadyOne | 05-29-2011 12:06 PM | ^ GrannyTranny, I was doing a similar tit for tat thing last week, I realised that it achieved nothing for all people invloved. Instead of being rational, these arguments always end up being personal. |
| Littlemorestealth | 05-29-2011 12:31 PM | That was way too much of a read.
Then I can be a jackass |
personally i hate speeders and drink drivers,i have children, and personally,if ppl sell vero,i couldnt care less, aslong as they drive safe on our roads:peace: |
