Requires pretty much no education, so I am surprised it even pays that. Hence why it must be pretty tempting to just take all the packages you can for yourself.

joea 01-11-2012 11:03 AM

wtf why would they lie? i used ems/dhl, two separate packages...

joea 01-23-2012 09:20 PM

ok today i got a letter through regular mail, says if package was seized and will get destroyed within 30 days if i take action, but the bottom says i could be sued for the real MSRP of the items i bought? should I worry?

At this point, I woul say no. If you receive another letter from the Brand Owner's ATTORNEY, that would be a different matter.

Your address is now listed in the US Customs database. Greatly increases the chances of further seizures of packages going to that address.

Use a different address for your packages from now on :typing:

ssam 01-24-2012 05:28 AM

you can have a new address but make sure that you have access to it

Don't worry. Throw the letter away and get on the horn with your supplier regarding what he/she will do to rectify the situation. If they aren't willing to do anything for you, then contact your CC company and start the process of filing as far as not getting the goods you paid for. It takes forever but you will get your money back.

and even if the Brand owner's attorney sends you a letter, don't sweat that either, trust me.

It's when you get certified mail (mail that you have to sign for) that you have to sweat a bit, but even then, if you read through this sub forum, 99 times out of 100, nothing happens.

rsot 01-24-2012 11:31 AM

Exactly - certified mail holds weight.

joea 01-24-2012 02:14 PM

has anyone has experience with bose before, specifically? if i were to get a certfied how long does it take to come? would not signing it be ok to avoid conflict?

slappzilla 01-24-2012 03:03 PM

DO NOT go that route dude.

Seriously, just get a hold of your supplier and if they don't give you anything as a refund call your CC company and say your **** never got delivered.
