Default Customs in West Coast warning

3 of my long time suppliers have denied shipping to me recently because they state Customs in West Coast is very strict starting last week. Anyone else have this issue?

what they did instead is ship to an address in the east coast and then re-rout the package to my address. Takes a couple days longer

Ice = customs are very strict in zip codes in the los angeles and some other ports. You should ask the sellers which ports they can pass your stuff through.

An old trick. And San Francisco has always been the worst in the country.

This is the truth ,it is strict for the packages come through west coast by DHL.But ems and hkems goes through west coast with no problem recently, but do not make the package too big ,and it is no problem to mark the package as "gift",not sample, because christmas day is coming,it is make sense to mark the package as "gift"

Hi I was wondering what "too big" you think would be? What do you think is the maximum weight for maximum safety against customs? 20 pounds?

I use to have packages come in from NY customs and reroute to my old west coast address using EMS. Now, my supplier uses DHL that goes through Cincy and gets to me in lower southern state.

It is not strange, some packages even stay for 1 month and finally came out.But if more than 1 week, the possiblity to get seized is much bigger.

It's nerve racking having something sit in customs.
