Default Fulfillment Services?

I'm wondering if anybody is using any fulfillment services.
Packing and shipping the packages just takes to much time, I'm looking for a company that would do this for me (not Amazon FBA).

Any opinions, anybody with experience in this field?

I am looking for the same thing. Have you looked into shipwire.com, or webgistix.com?

I am selling from my apartment, so if I would hire somebody, I would have to rent a commercial place, manage stock and employees etc. - this seems like a lot of work again... It might be a good solution though.

Don't get me wrong I don't have a problem with working, I am just trying to optimize the work / return ratio.
Right now I am spending 1/5 of my time online with managing sales and 4/5 with sourcing products, packing and shipping. Basically with a fulfillment service I could just sell 5 times more in the same amount of time, and make 4-5 times more money.

Exactly. How many packages do you ship on average/day? I ship about 100 orders a day, I definitely need one. I also found efulfillmentservice.com... I am awaiting quotes from all of them. Will keep you posted.

you guys are crying about 100 packages a day. 1 person plus yourself can do that in 2-5 hours if everything is ready. ALl you need is to place in envelope/box and slap label on it.

I do 300 a day right now with 1 person helping me. We start at 12ish and done by 3:30....

This is true... Also depends on what you are shipping. Besides, I have a full time job too... But, you are right, it might be cheaper to just hire someone to do it all day, than go with a Fulfillment Center... That's what I have to figure out.

True, but what I'm saying is that if a fulfillment center would do the packing and shipping for you, then you wouldn't have to pack and ship from 12 to 3:30
Basically you will have a lot more TIME. Time to develop, scale, improve your business, time to think and work on other projects or business opportunities, time to develop yourself or just time to waste, if you like

You had the brain to build the business you are running, why would you let the mechanical, boring, cyclical work slow you down from creating something new, from doing greater things than... packing boxes?
