Default Anyone understand the new USPS changes to first class?

I'm trying to print postage from Dazzle (Endicia's program). It's my regular first-class package with delivery confirmation. This is the error message:

The mail class and services you have chosen is not a valid combination that the USPS supports. To determine a valid combination of mail class and services, please see the postal regulations at Postal Explorer.
This item will NOT be printed and you have NOT been charged for postage for this piece. Please try again, or turn off Delivery Confirmation to print this item with only postage.

Now I have been on USPS's website reading these new changes and Endicia's website reading this new changes. I didn't have this problem before I updated my software to conform with the upcoming changes.

What can I do? I need delivery confirmation and first class prices. Sorry if this is a stupid question but I honestly can not figure out what settings I need to change.

I just printed a bunch of first class labels from paypal, didn't see any changes, the only change mentioned on the site is a 1 cent increase on Jan. 22nd for stamps.

I don't use Endicia, but are you trying to print First Class without using their parcel rates? It could be that to get delivery confirmation you need to use First Class parcel or package rates. Lowest price for First Class parcels is $1.75 with delivery confirmation when I use Ebay/Paypal shipping.

yeah thats what I'm doing, there wasn't any problems before until I updated the software to comply with the new USPS rules starting january 22nd. I would assume that those changes won't be reflected by postage purchases through ebay/paypal until the 22nd.

Can Endicia print First Class Mail w/delivery confirmation using the non-parcel rate? In other words 2 ounce items could possibly be sent for less than the $1.75? I have usually run into a road block at my Post Office if I mail anything that isn't totally flat even if it is relatively thin. Is your experience different?

Ive been wondering this myself. I have received packages from big companies who use encidia and the postage said .66 cents with delivery confirmation.

Default First Class with tracking

Looks to me that it has to be package rate to have tracking available.

I use endicia to print first class mail too. However, I recently found out the postage rate for the first class with a tracking is wrong. How can the 1 to 3oz rate is only $1.68 cents? It is totally wrong. I checked with the USPS, for 1 to 3oz first class package rate is $1.95. So, I end up choosing 5oz in endicia and the postage is $1.98. This thing is after i update the program for 2012 USPS.

I use stamp.com for most of my mailing First Class 3 oz is $1.68 if the evelope size is reported as over 3/4" If you do not need confirmation its about $1.12. It amazes me that ebay say its free confirmation when infact they are making all First Class mail as over 3/4" even if its not.

Amazon is also guilty of this but they both like it so they know if you have mailed out.

Just looked at encidia they want to charge me double what I pay stamps.com for what I have there. They want me to order a proffesional package based on what I do.

So any body who is using the proffesional package look at stamps.com
