Anytime you are shipping internationally using USPS always ask for a tracking number - the only valid tracking number is one that starts with RR.
I never had any particular problems with Canada, you have to use Canada Post to track shipments once they arrive there.
As for blocking the entire Middle East - I think this is a mistake, you have to pick and choose which countries you want to ship to. Israel is okay but obviously I would not ship to Iraq, Libya or Iran. Turkey is okay to ship to too.
You can also ship to Australia but in order to track the package you have to contact Australia Post - I always post questions with tracking numbers on their twitter account and they answer, usually, within a day.
You should know the unless you are shipping express to certain countries you are not covered by seller protection - any country that does not offer tracking for incoming international parcels is not safe to ship to unless you are using express shipping.
This means: France, UK, India and Germany. Most buyers from there are honest and packages are received - but don't risk more than you are willing to lose. |
