I've just received C160 letter asking me for proof of value but when I asked seller for the invoice he just sent me an invoice in Excell format without any sender details.Will they accept that?

Hardly.

You could have made an invoice yourself.

Go back to your supplier & tell him to resend the invoice with correct details or you'll file a dispute.

If you have dealt with tis supplier B4 there should e no problem.
If not then reconsider business. (after everything is sorted ;))

(nb. It's only a threat.)

I tried to call parcelforce several times and the customer service gave me different answers. Some of them said my parcel has been released from Customs and would be with me within 2 days. Some of them told me they cannot do anything and my parcel has been held by Customs waiting for checks!

I also emailed parcelforce and the reply is " have checked the tracking information for your parcel and can confirm has arrived in the UK and is now currently being processed through our Main Distribution Centre, having been released from Customs. Once all the necessary checks have been completed, the parcel will be sent on to your local delivery depot within 2 working days, depending on the service used."

I've been totally confused. Is there anyone can help me?

P.S. My parcel is quite small around 1.5kg (two tops and a pair of shoes) and just for personal use.

It matches the despatch better.

It's hardly a delay but more of an inconvenience & worry for you, zhu :).

Some of us have had 3 weeks of waiting.

Parcel not damaged in transit
items will be s l o w l y processed.

Hi, thank you so much for your reply! Yeah, I do worry about my parcel. Maybe because I am living in exactly the same district of Olympic area (London E16), my parcel needs to be carefully checked for security reason. Do hope I can receive my parcel tomorrow!

Yeah I'm just gonna have to sit and wait it out maybe it will update this weekend after its been in for a week , no point in threating over it , isn't gonna make it come any quicker lol

yeah same here just sit back and relax lol, they must be checking everything so if i get my parcels not sending anymore

i have updates on 2 of mine
out of mine above
the first one have changed to out waiting customs charging which is 19.82
my second one haven't moved from received and processed
my 3rd i have received yesterday
and i had a 4th which went in customs on 22nd and i received that today

Same! I have some updates too, 2 of mine have been delivered as charges were put on them, 1 more is showing as "awaiting customs charging", and the other 5 still on "awaiting customs clearance) -

The ones which have been charged were not opened!

Iv finaly received all 4 of mine... and also 2 more went strate thru... I was told by my supplyer every parcel sent between may 1 - may 14 was checked for custom duty... hence the holding them bk opening... a few of my mates have had items seized but all mine came thru with some hefty charges which have all been paid up.
Please be patiant as i had 1 parcel in for 18 days and finaly received it today :)

Mine are still in the same place, i really wish i knew the customs where going to have a clamp down i would have never have ordered, but never mind, when they slacken down i'll hammer it even harder this time lol, i think i have lost all my 50kg of items misers lol.

one of mines still stuck at received and processed anyone had this and still got there parcel as the last time i got this tracking result last year it was seized i have had loads since then all gone through no problem apart from this one

Mines still on received and processed since the 18th hope mine doesnt get seized or im up **** creek

all items that went thru customs between May 1st - May 14th, have been held back to be opened and checked for value...
IF thay beleave the value to be hire than the slip thay will either release with charges or ask for an invoice.... IF you need an invoice ask your supplyer to post you one, if you get a charge just pay up as im sure you have all had parcels come hru in the past with no charges, so this is all just one big inconvience.... AND IT TAKES A LONG TIME :(

should mine change status during the week at some point ? it will be in for 15days in a couple days if thats how long their meant to be keeping them in ??
